There is one. No really; it’s there. Somewhere. I don’t really know where it wants to go. It has a three pronged “investigation” aspect that frankly could and should branch paths down a triad angle. Three potential endings are theoretically possible. The problem being with drip fed content and probably way too many opinions on how the story should go- and yes, this is one of them- it’s a bit more fragmented at the moment than I think is actually comprehensible. You are effectively a normal kid, to start off. The truth is of course, FAR stranger, and it’s not fiction.

You are so ill defined in fact, that you may as well be a god. Who apparently doesn’t know how to use his powers. You have them, but the instances where they are usuable are so far between you will forget you have any at all. There is a question of who killed your mom, and why, and what you’re going to really do about it.

How exactly you’ll step into shoes that have the pull to actually do a thing about it, is as much a question. There is ground work in mechanics that I will cover, as partly they are well enough done. The problem being, I don’t think the story really knows what it wants to be. There are too many antagonists to fight.

With no effective means currently to do so. You do get a side kick, who frankly though endearing at points, is more often annoying as fuck. It also takes too long to get to that point. I would not relish having to restart this game over, at all. There are a goodly amount of characters, and to be fair, they can be charming, but there are A LOT of quirks and troupes thrown out.

There are too many married or bred females involved with you, for a pregnancy mechanic that essentially forces you to have one child at a time. I’m veering off, but then so did the actual story. Yes, I understand it’s not easy to come up with a viable end. I’ve done it about a hundred plus times across several series I haven’t yet published. I may never, but I’m a perfectionist for myself. I’m sharing this so you won’t think I’m insulting anyone, I do happen to know story structure, and the writing craft. Very well.

One of the hardest things to do is to pick a point you want the story to go, and stick with that. Developers aren’t writers, in all cases and I respect the attempt at any point. However, fracturing to three different paths will require three different ends. I will caution against bad ones. Period. I’d also say introducing a “trickster” who taunts you about playing with your girls wearing your skin was a dick move, bro.

If any action requires a stat, that NEEDS to be made clear as much as HOW to raise it. I should not have to look that up separately. The eldritch as a portion of you, potentially and all the timey wimey BS makes telling a cohesive story harder. I would split it into a Light, Grey and Dark path for myself. With the Eldritch being the dark end.

If you are going to be asshole enough to introduce a BIG BAD, and then as a stat tutor imply cuckoldry; there is a reason there’s like thirty copies of this fucker floating around. Follow through. (I don’t want to say there shouldn’t be a “bad” end, but it doesn’t have to be a game over, so much as taking the story into a grim point, where you control an evil entity that took over Captain A God Am I, if I only had a brain… Which is another point.

Why exactly does everyone assume that ANY harem leader at all, would be naturally that fucking dense??? About anything. I get it’s an anime troupe, but it’s one that NEEDS to die. Put that in the house fire, instead of the random cray cray girl cos player who frankly hasn’t gotten any real screen time yet. There are frankly, too many females, and not enough substance to invest in most of them.

Hell the mechanic to break or awaken into love is amazing for player choice, but you barely get to use it. Gwen and Chloe are prime examples of first, your power in game, and the weakness of flawed or unfocused writing. Madison and Veronica almost fall into a mirror of the same.

It’s better to “finish” an arc with the characters you have, than to create new characters and spend months to a year spreading everything all out. You’ll lose the thread of what you meant to go for with them all, individually. Far more easily than if you focus. Chloe in particular is a problem. Frankly every scene with her is not consented, since you broke her character and did NOT get to choose not to. I get the reasoning, but you NEED to be able to fix her, or break her in full. Soon.

Half way leaves too much in question and it’s either frustrating, or not a great feeling about any of the sexual situations she’s involved in. Also, and yes this is my personal opinion: Fuck Yandere. On the whole, as a concept. Anyone that crazy, you run from. Or kill off. Fix her to be the happy bride she wants to be, the impregnated, potentially cuck willing ex fiance you’ve implied she is.

See what I mean with losing the story? Do you even recall that point, it was several, many long updates back. I won’t blame you if you forgot. The council of Furry, or Fey if you want, is interesting, but the problem with Morganna as antagonist is still present. You NEED to give the player an actual way to FIGHT her; break her, or otherwise be DONE with her. I can take the attitude since he is basically a god, and she is not aware of that point yet, but damn… again, that should be resolved. Sooner.

She’s existed on the character roster since the start and you’ve got no hearts. No means to get hearts, but you can see every sexual stat about her? Why. No, really; why? If she’s meant to be an enemy, great. Dethrone and break her brittle I’m the Queen Bitch ass, and be done. Or kill her off, and prove you can rule in her stead. Pixie’s little dust up with the green girl only proves to most of your audience that even if MC is the ‘harem leader’ it’s the girls with most of the power.

Which IS NOT how it should be when you’ve given this arse a grab bag of magics that say ‘I can do whatever I want.’ His name is less MC than Dues Ex. That’s a problem. Especially for how often you get to actually USE the magics you’ve got.

Mechanics

Now, I own that I bled in a bit, so mea culpa. The mechanics are fairly simple. Basically there’s a branching path in investigating/avenging your Mom’s death (without being clear on exactly what the fuck she was, by the way, which might also help) against the core you yourself might be a ticking time bomb. Or facing an else wise unassailable evil that wants to hunt you.

The succubus lolli if you want to be rid of that threat, will guard you from dark dreams… but you have to be willing to stomach that content. Frankly, every girl should definiably have enough curves to be called a woman. I really wish you guys would get over the concept any of us want to fuck with someone that even just LOOKS underage.

We did, when we were just starting puberty, we grew up. Mostly. We can’t all be six foot, I know. The fact that at the end, it isn’t really a clear threat, under cuts the antagonist as a mechanic. It’s one of three avenues and I can sense the biggest potential pit fall in story line; but the Beast is mostly there as far as I can tell to fuck with a player’s head. No bueno.

Then there are the actual stats. There are several to be concerned with, though most really only tangentially matter. The interesting (and FAR too punitive) mechanic is now influence and authority in college. Madison and Veronica to varied degrees are on your side, and I would have left this whole thing as a mechanic until you finished THEIR story before adding it as a means to go fuck all the highschool girls. Or their moms.

By which I mean do NOT make a queen bee hive to threaten a player who’s actively meant to be DOMINANT. It’s not enough to say you’re going to break them. He has Awaken, and Break. HE HAS AURA!!! If I can get the right answer in that stupid fucking date mechanic the three times needed; here’s how you deal with them… LET MC USE HIS POWERS! Jesus.

Fuck the concept of Madison needing to do more than give you the base info of their homes, and getting them to the club the first time. From that point if you succeed, it should be you take all three individually to pound town, and then do whatever the hell you want to any girl at the school.

Either because you end up “dealing” with Madison’s husband, and or taking that whole damned ninja school under your wing by your powers (Fuck the mistress BJ bs: she’s been yoinking my chain for FAR TOO LONG to let you get away with that level of blue balling buddy) Point being, the economy is in sore need of a rework.

The stats basically don’t matter much, and when they should you’re stuck listening to too much “I am woman, here me roar…” just not in the way you want to. It is NOT fun. There is enough piled on about how this guy’s going to end up in the story, that the rest of it should be easy.

There’s only so far you’re going to be able to push you audiences’ attention span, or desire to keep playing. Introducing random new characters isn’t always bad, but it’s best done when you know the course you want to take (IE you have a DUNGEON – problem solved) for little miss ‘girl with the dragon tattoo;’ lock her arse up for some play time, and send her videos of you defiling her precious daughter, who’s only too willing.

PROVE his statements, hell let her watch and want, as he fucks the other two Bee Moms, and see that he’s not just all talk… Damn it. Based on what you’re going for mechanically, and what you’ve set in the lore, this guy’s harem and child base should be huge.

Even with the handicap of one at a time, I’ve bred each girl at least three kids. You don’t need to make the player “earn” everything. Sometimes you need to realize, it’s more fun to just enjoy. And no, I don’t mean with a friggin’ gallery unlocker. The only thing those tell me is we made the game too obtuse, or too difficult to figure out how to get every possible scene, so opps…

Concession

Now I’ve voiced some of my bigger gripes, let me say that even though I’m not fussed on the animation style, there is something to the mechanics at play. The story does build up over time, and if you would just let him focus on BUILDING the empire or army * like say with his own kids, the natural way, hint hint… * it might see a viable means to finish out more cohesively than it hit at middle of the run.

Maybe. I’m all for every aspect of the high fantasy, and I don’t mind the monster girls all that much (I am a werewolf, kinda hard to judge you know) but there needs to be structure. Whether you call it a four letter word or not. The potential is great, and it could be a deeply engaging story. If you took certain points a little more serious.

Laxed on the economy costs- it took WAY too damned long to even get the college as my property, and now you want to make it a thing I have to build up??? >.< – with some (a lot) of fine tuning, I could actually very much recommend this game. Even highly. It does hit a lot of boxes for a lot of tastes. Though again, why… deer god; why, does every friggin anime based game think everyone wants foot fetish content?

Realize that if you’re going to play to what some call a fetish (I still don’t and never will) then don’t limit the pregnancy. At all. It’s another punitive thing that doesn’t need to be there. Making me have to “find” my kids in some mystical space rather than just having them stay with Auntie Artifact- who is pixie in another color by the way, was not the best way to immerse the audience into the family concept.

I get that it probably was meant to tie into the parallel versions of MC, as potential means to explain why that even happens, but come on… I can’t argue against the consistency of updates, I will applaude that. Highly even. The quality of the art while not to my admitted tastes in all veins, is more than simply decent calibur.

Which is better than I can say about some Harem Anime. I think this game does have a kernel of something that could be great. One day. It’s not there yet, and it might be more a case of the little engine that only thinks it could… but I’d hope not. There is something here, and something tells me, (for the long haul or not) I’m into something good.

I won’t mind it. Sorcerer Part Duex: The Hotter Shots can wait for a bit as far as I’m concerned. So another one looks ready to move to the next stage. At least so far as the updates hint in this current version. Number 5 – Superheroes Suck

This game is fairly consistently updated, so if reliable is your jam, give this one a shot. Don’t blame me if you feel like a punching bag. I’d say overall it’s a good story, but the choice of powers at the start shouldn’t be personality based. It should just be straight which powers do you actually want? I would like to see Fitness and Studying actively do something, and I think you should not endlessly build confidence without gaining more of the other two stats alongside it. First, another game that should be a harem. Period. The question should not be what will happen if you pursue multiple girls. It should be which ones you will choose to stick with, in general. First, I’ll say I had a problem getting this game to play when I did download it. I got far too many instances of Igore, Rollback error. So the save file wouldn’t work to get into Chapter 2 the normal way. I did finally get a chance to play, and I have some gripes. They aren’t small ones. First; how in the hell do you mean to tell me there’s a neutral path??? There are two options in most cases.

Be a dick to the girl, and get corruption, or don’t and get good guy points. Where is the neutral in that? Second, Isabella along with several other listed women, have no actual means to gain hearts on the “Good” path. If there is a sex scene on Neutral or Evil, then mark it in brackets or do NOT make some snark assed comment at the end of the current version about scenes the player can’t see.

Ataegina Chapter 2

The only reason they can’t is because you haven’t done enough work to make EVERY path match in having scenes. You’re blaming the player for your lack of foresight there buddy. There’s also the fact that a Harem, doesn’t mean all the girls fuck each other, and occasionally let MC have his way. Hell while we’re at it, why turn Fannay to the dark side. Take her away, and that’s stupid.

You should just put in brackets, do not bother trying to corrupt Mida with that shit. It won’t matter anyway if you’re playing the wrong side and there should be more options to corrupt each girl, with a PERSONAL focus. On YOU. Not girls. There’s the fact that both Anya and Kat endlessly tease, and at times berate the player for things that we got no choice about.

The “little flower” joke was fine the first time or two; but by the time she’s bent to breed and not bitching about the fact you try to, it is time she needs to lay off it. She can’t keep seeing you as a little brother, if you’re going to do the I’m a good girl, and I want you to bend me like a bitch in heat. It does not work.

Considering you play with the wrong dark elf, either I get to be the king of their peoples, or you need to let me actually have the blind battlemage. ALSO; BLIND. Blind, for fuck’s sake. As a BATTLEMAGE! Either her ass is Matt Murdock in dragon age, or she must be a goddess of luck.

It’d be fine if you went in on that in Mysticism. I’m not knocking the disability or her ability to do magic… and fuck me don’t I know it would be cliche, but it would also flash fry a whole lot less people. See what I mean? Also, the nobleman’s wife you get to boff exactly once. Why? Other than cuckholdry.

Which, fair enough… but she has no hearts. No corruption, and please for the love of all that is holy, what the hell is with these games and trying to make the MC fuck their mothers? First, she’s adopted, so if you aiming for incest, you failed… perhaps even this city.

Considering one of them is in ruins currently. Second, HE IS A GOD. In TWO FORMS. One way or the other, he is weak sauce for magical powers, and no reincarnation with the need to build back his power doesn’t god damned cut it. (Yes, that was an intended choice of words) He is far, far weaker than he ought to be, and offering a respec every damned chapter isn’t good enough.

Try actually balancing the combat bucko. The fact there is a “skip battle” button means you already tapped out on that. Light, or Dark or anything in between, since he IS A GOD, it should be taken that all the women want him. Period. For whatever reasons you want to eventually let them build up to explaining to themselves. This IS A HAREM GAME!

You keep mentioning it, even on the Good Guy path, by your Girlfriend. Though I admit, I thought I’d eventually get Fannay out of it, so I chose a much higher corruption for Mida at the onset. There are too many instances of doing a lot of things right for the lore, and being a decently (decently because it’s far too fragmented and you spend too much time railroading because you want the player that chooses dark to have some value… I do get it) implemented story.

A riff on Skyrim, with shades of Oblivion thrown in. There are also too many ways you go out of your way to fuck over, or outright emasculate the MC. DO NOT MINDFUCK the player. I do not care if it’s a dream sequence. It’s jarring, and you will lose more paetrons than you gain for doing so. Anya and Berdita can be lesbians together since they are basically a light and dark copy; and I expect it will be revealed that Berdita is a permanent version of the dopple spell.

Ataegina Chapter 2 – Adult Game

Or if you really want to push the BS feminism, they’re the second try by Ataegina to make a god character to keep her company, only she’s not into girls and they can’t be controlled the way you were. Done. You can still bring them into a three way with MC; because as it turns out, they’re not actually into women, so much as into themselves OR Ataegina wasn’t as firm in all things as they’d want her to be, if you know what I mean. Their whole side bit of tribidism can just be them getting each other into the swing so they can openly try to manipulate MC, which he will turn the tables on by either ruling over them in raw force or making both fall hopelessly in love.

Hell, I should not have to fix your story paths for you. You don’t pay me for that… It’s a good game, so long as you’re not anal about the powers. Or having any. Even as a God, and that’s what you call, Irony.

Now, ordinarily I wait until a game is fairly established to give it either a review or this kind of nod. However, there’s a fair bit of content to dive into with this one. Even from the very start. It’s not too far along, and it might be a real work in progress, but on that point the MC isn’t too far a fish out of water himself.

The story is a bit of a downer for the most part. Being real for a moment, I have issues with my own legs that impede my ability to walk. Or stand as long as I’d want, as stably. I can tell you girls that look like that, aren’t exactly lining up around the block. I get his attitude to start with, and the parents and EX girlfriend are WAY TOO DAMNED harsh.

To be skilled at something physical like that, and have it ripped away in story context; name me one frigging person that wouldn’t take that massively hard. She DOES NOT actively fight for him. We don’t even get to see her give him a good bye fuck. There’s nothing to their relationship except what we’re told, so she didn’t really need to be in the game at all.

Except to win her back, but I can again tell you as someone close enough to his shoes, why bother? If she’s going to cut and run because he gets cold, without trying to warm him up or actually support him, she was never really his. Was she. So why is she still included as a character. If you can still have her, after building yourself back up to something stable, fine.

Fair enough, but she better have been either one of two things. Miserable without you and not even willing to use a dildo for her pleasures, or into girls, whom she thinks to help you get with, or can introduce you to, as means to prove she knows she fucked up. Mechanics

There aren’t many. There are a few missing bits and pieces I think, but I’ll get to that in covering the story. Since that’s the meat here. Unless you’re hoping for potatoes, there’s only small ones to this section. The usual binary choice, more often than not. Only making the wrong one can go… badly, for your crew. With scenes you get to watch. Yippee. Kayay! or is it Kayak? What would a mountain do… Hey, it’s not my fault this might be a game of thrones.

Story

It starts a little shaky, goes hard into almost uber feminist points, and a little too distrustful of the MC that they of course all secretly want. Most will admit it, but damn did it take too long to get a good shot of Captain Morgan’s. Not sayin’ I want them all to be super easy, but I sure won’t mind if it’s just for my sake. It’s a harem game, in the tags for god’s sake. You made a game with a literal savior reference. I don’t care whether he’s white, black, silver skinned with purple people eater polka dots. Anywho… The world is in trouble, considering who’s in charge. Not spoiling, but it will not overly be an issue.

Even though there’s a decent build up to make you think you’re screwed as I recall. The story will eventually split down two paths; with one path making you the once and future king of everything along with said purple at least one person eats her. Or you can reject her, but I’d wait to do that until after you let her give you a shot. I find it weird that you’d go the “give me superpowers” route and then mark it so the human female doctor who supposedly wants him healthy (and possibly to herself) finds out. How exactly does she cockblock a plan by the “smartest person in the galaxy?” Just curious. Asking for a friend. (You can’t prove I don’t have any, and that’s a dirty stereotype…) Point being, either go all in, or don’t bother.

On that note; pregnancy. You knew I was gonna talk about it guys. I’ve been open enough by now. It’s a little random that the single time I know they fuck, Morgan’s ending is one I’d want to see. There are only four of them available in the current Episode 10 update, and that’s not right if his seed’s supposed to be so potent. You’re really going to tell me the smartest alien in any room ever, wouldn’t have known there are animals on earth that induce ovulation? She’s already mucked with his genes. It would also by her own reasoning, help the human population problem. She might even some day get a better suited “King.” Call it a shadow play that MC’s not even aware might be happening. Again: Go all in, or don’t bother. I’ll be more than willing to wait for the Dog Girl to have puppies. Plural. Just because she looks human, doesn’t mean she can’t be animal internally.

That’s kind of the point of that fantasy anyway. Whether anyone wants to admit that or not. Also, what happened to the pinkish red girl. You give the choice to fuck her, and she’s just gone… There’s a few plot holes to cover before you end the story, and there’s no content for the “King of purple hearts” route yet. I will mention that I’m aware finances can be hard to garner. I’m also aware that it is work, but quality content in a harem also means not just skipping several “lesser” girls. Or any of them. Assume the audience wants to ‘breed me Daddy.’ (I feel wrong just saying that, it’s not the way I tend to play… but there IS a lot of that kind of content. Gah) At any rate, it should be that any woman you choose to finish inside; and the choice should be open to the player to do so with ALL of them, at least once… you will impregnate.

I’m happy enough with where the story leaves off right now on the “screw muh queen” path, but it’s NOT nearly a done game. There’s a lot more exploring of her reasoning to do, you could again make her a full shadow agent since you’ve already jarred the audience with that potential black widow reference. Maybe you’ll be a real prick, and make her have all the babies at once; and like a true spider queen, his own children will have him over for his last free lunch.

There are several paths I can see being open to a very kinked, but entirely Happy Ending. No matter how many versions of Altered States he’s in for the long haul. If he’s going to rule with her, they should continue the experiments until she makes him like her; or again have her intend to screw him over when he doesn’t do what she wants, and it doesn’t go exactly her way all the time.

If you really want to get uber on point with the Meta. Whatever the end is chosen, I’d like to see several females pregnant. Or all of them happily married to MC, if only one of them openly and or legally. (She does say you can have a thousand slaves; and that’s a LOT more than the whole cast… no, I won’t say you should try to do nearly that much animating. I’m not that far gone to my kink. I promise. Do you trust me? Now isn’t that the whole question…)

Conclusion

A good game, with beautiful enough animations (Though I will say I dislike overly exaggerated proportions, so the Mother Superior I only took because Walkthrough recommended it. I preferred her lesser ranked sisters of the cloth, thank very much) and plenty of fun to be gained. If you’re careful. If not, well… do you remember those old school choose your own adventures? Yeah, what am I talking about. It’s Through Spacetime, not Through Timeinspace. No need to go back to the stone age. With that, I’ll hit the emergency warp drive, and hightail it folks. Number 5 is Project Hot W

It stands for Wife. Come on guys, you’re not fooling anyone. First, I’ll say this style of game isn’t specifically my cup of tea. I was willing to give it a shot for telling both sides. Except for in earlier runs, it made the male again be straight up desirous to be a cuckold. It might have played with the idea that he was not, and it was actually not a bad move to get him to play along because he was as attracted to the blonde as they want to hint the wife is becoming.

I will say “hotwife” does not necessarily imply “will fuck anybody.” If she has a husband, yes she can be a latent lesbian but really, how often does that happen. It is a little more common for women to be attracted to women overall. Not every cuckold story needs lesbianism. I would say it’s enough to include the blonde as bi, and give the players who want to go that route the option to see those scenes.

I do like that it feels like what they tried to do. I don’t like the point bar system since it effectively bars you from the bigger scenes. They might have worked out the kinks from the last time I’ve tried or added a few more. I can say the art work is hot enough to please most but the hard judges. Besides, at least this time the walkthrough’s up to date. If a bit of spice and crowbarred “adventure” is your thing; maybe you’ll give this game a shot. For me, it’s Pat Bennatar. It can hit me with the best it’s got, and it’s just another notch in a broken bed’s post.

Now, for some this game could be weird.
Personally I think it’s less a dating sim than a should be harem. Last I tried it, the story was a bit wonked. The artwork is intriguing enough. I think this last update’s added some elements that make it worth checking on, and I might do a full review for it at some point. Maybe. If it can decide what it wants to be, to start.

There’s the obligatory best friend who becomes more, an oddball who might actually be more than she seems and really… that decribes about the whole rest of the cast, in fact. Guess I might just leave it at that. After all, seeing is believing, and better a blew moon, than a pair of big fuzzy blue balls.

Number 3 Starship Inanna

Since this one just got updated, I also just finished a playthrough. I will say I have a small problem not being able to pick the color of my skin in chosen gender. I don’t mind playing a black guy, even if I’m Casper’s not so distant cousin should we want to break the fourth wall for a bit (There are walls; when did we get those, who put them here anyway?) Point being, the character creation choices leave a bit to be desired.

Even in the fact I’ve played earlier versions of the game thus far, I can’t say I will do a full review. The story’s a bit bonkers, and really most of it a fair few players will ultimately skip through. I do find it fucked that a game that IS a harem game, only lets you choose an “entourage” of three characters, when it actually GETS to the harem part. I also find it screwed up that you include a gay girl on a male MC run; and a few who’d rather not be in that lifestyle at all.

There should be an “do I want to be gay” option in the character creation point, rather than just including males on a male run. Half the characters in the room when you’re choosing your “entourage” will not participate. They don’t need to be there. You do understand the whole concept of a harem; right? Which on that point, I should be able within any story based “time limit,” to spend time with all of the desired romanceable characters.

Not just two and then move on. I should be able to fuck more than one, on a given day. If I’ve been dating one of the alien females for at least two weeks and you press forward time, don’t you think we can skip past all the you can look but don’t touch, I’m just going to tease the holy (when are we going to-) fuck out of you. Come on. I get going slow on the “power fantasy” but that IS what a harem is. You either accept that base point, or you don’t.

Do not show me a cake if you don’t want me to eat it. I’d also state it’s screwed up to sterilize anyone, and/or have characters who’ve already had children, who still don’t want to bother letting the MC have the shot. Call it a pet peeve, since they’re on that road… it’s not one that can’t be fixed; so I’ll hold my breath. (See again, already got blue balls… and they’re fuzzy)

2. College Bound

First, a game that wants to be all about splitting a couple up, or potentially doing so, should just not have the “couple” at the start. Second, if it IS going to be about spliiting the couple up, the girlfriend does not need to be this level of bipolar. Schitzophrenic, or self-involved. The first time she wants to give the MC her viriginity he gets a random “emergency” call from a mutual acquaintence.

GF shuts him down for sex no matter if he does nothing, and the PLAYER isn’t really given a choice not to go. That’s not smart Devs. She can suspect, and should for a fair part of the game if the MC isn’t spending time with her; but most GF’s will not automatically think their partner is cheating, unless THEY are doing something on the side themselves. Or they are massively insecure and mentally unstable.

College Bound

Which is really all I took from GF’s current reactions every time we talked. Guys ALSO don’t tend to like overly clingy girls. There’s a difference between possessive, seeking loyalty and outright I will never trust you and want you to not even look at anyone else. Yandere is not attractive. Ever. At all. It’s a troupe that needs to die by it’s own sword.

Honestly it’s BAD that I like Bianca more than GF, since Bianca isn’t naturally the girl you should trust WOULD be loyal to you, given how things between you start. The fact she is all about sex, and pretty much only that as an introduction. The building is just bam. Too fast to think serious is what she’s actually aiming for. Though I admit, it would be a massive and quite pleasant subversion of all my expectations if she’s the one you lock down who’s absolutely on your side; eventually get married and breed like bunnies.

I would like to be wrong, because Rainbows do happen, and GF is about the biggest storm cloud on the horizon. (Not that I ever played aiming to be loyal, because come the fuck on… there’s how many females right from the start, who all seem at least somewhat interested) The principal basically forcing you to be sexual would get her canned. You could bring her ass up on SO MANY charges. Guess what, a cellphone records, any principal worth her salt would know it, and it wouldn’t even need to be about the camera pics.

He lets it run with the vocals, and it doesn’t fucking matter if all they see is wood panels. She’s incriminated herself, and he goes to Paris gratis. Probably footed by the school district’s super intendant. Just to avoid further liability. Probably room and board paid too, in a smaller than could be settlement.

I’m just saying, I like that you try to ground it, but there ARE other ways than MC’s dick to get him out of that situation. Ways that don’t have to be a jigsaw puzzle; since he shouldn’t be written like some absolutely dense git. (He’s dense enough to impress Bianca, and I get it…) It’s good art, hot scenes and if you’d add an actual harem outcome; or even a way to diplomatically talk about the option with a GF who might just get used to it, all the better to me. Beyond that… it depends on whether you want to take the risk MC one day won’t wake up in a bathtub, missing a few key organs he might need. If his girl does find out.

At this point, starting to think this should just be a place holder. To me, this game is basically the gold standard for what a harem setting should be. They course corrected in listening to fan criticism and they’ve handled the story well. It makes sense, and it is about building relationships. All of them, with less visceral consequences. Dark skin, yes, and please. Thank you. Dark souls, has no power here folks. I do hope that continues.

I’ve stated what I’d hope to see in the content upcoming, and overall, the harem as stands is big enough to focus the next few updates in fleshing character/relationship developments. I’d say if you’re going to add anything else, maybe stop for girls added soon. He’s going to need an actual castle to house them all, if you don’t.

Never mind having to win the lottery, or come into some SERIOUS inheritance money to pay for all his princess’. I’m still hopeful, and waiting patiently to play a game I have to admit, I was leary of when I saw you could make the best friend trans, and that you could choose to “cheat” or pursue your friend even knowing you had a GF. I’d gotten so used to those being traps the GF’s reaction was literal gold. A god send, and so relieving.

You have no idea how much I want to thank you guys, just for that one point. Everything else you’ve done, or might do, I’m all that much more hopeful about. (No, I’m not giving up on the “so many” babies. I don’t mind if it takes a few months, or years, in updates. I promise)

Do

– Add Harem Tags properly onto games that involve such content.

– Add Walkthroughs directly into the game code, with the option in preferences to turn such off. (It should not require a mod to add the feature; that means you’re all aware it’s desired and actively not doing it)

– Add pregnancy consequences into more games. (I can dream… impossible as it may seem. Call me a Backstreet Boy, and quit playin’ games with my heart guys)

– Flesh out proper backstories for characters and storylines beforehand, in general. (It will help you keep track of what you want to do in games as you go forward, and cause less headaches)

– Add a feature to negate minigames. (Not everyone likes them, and to some they count for auto fail states)

Naughti-er, Nice – 1

– Treat your Male MC’s with the respect that you give the females. (Ties in with don’t make every female MC the naive innocent girl who wears rose colored glasses just to “break the woobie”)

– Come up with actually realistic economic mechanics. * No one wants to grind for seventeen repeat scenes plus, just to get the money to buy an item needed for a new scene to pop up)

– Come up with decent reasons in story that money should not be an issue, if you cannot manage the above. (A rich relative, or a sugar momma who doesn’t think/require the MC would be interested romantically, but generally wants to help them succeed etc)

– Find ways to make Act 2 onward, compatible with the end game saves of the first Act (Ataegina specifically, but also generalized good practice) ** Ties to do not make chapters in separate downloads to be strung together into one game, in order to be recognized and playable. (Daughter For Dessert as an example)

– Realize that the “Step, Landlady or Roommate” tags for your characters are not fooling anyone. Add in a feature to turn it off, and it should comply with Paetron’s rules. (Since it’s avoidable) If not, understand it’s no longer “tabboo” if every second game has such content. Which was the draw of it in the first place. All you are doing is confusing a chunk of your audience. Better to not have them be related if nothing here is viable.

Don’t

– Forget that your audience has a life. They aren’t going to want to repeat events ad infinitum. Not to gain resources, or manage bases or stats. Not to get a female to “melt” or get what most of us sign up on site for. A bit of wild fun; tittilation and release. Emphasis on that last part.

– Make the audience scroll through half an hour of scenes just to get to one with foreplay. Then an hour or more to get to any true sex. Especially if the scene is less than three minutes, and the “finish” we can see isn’t the player’s choice. There is far too much desire to blue ball the audience, and yes I get the point is to farm paetrons.

– Treat your audience like they’re fools. Which is what you’re doing when you make the MC sound like a moron. It’s jarring. We all like naughty fun, we all want naughty fun; those girls leave the door open ALL THE DAMNED TIME! It’s not “perverted” to take a look, and should not lead to negative consequences. You keep putting the scenes in to tantalize, and display your prowess with the art. What part of this IS perverted is the fact you get some twisted pleasure out of treating the MC like this is some dark action… Please… just get over it.

– Take away the choice of what type of sex we will see. I don’t care if a specific character does love Anal; not everyone does. Anal is not automatically Dominant or domination, by the way. Ties into don’t mention pregnancy if you’re not willing to code the results, and give it a decent chance to happen. (Again; tied directly to MC- but we’ll get to that)

– Use NTR incorrectly. Sharing is not NTR. Swinging is basically another term for sharing, and both of those imply a degrading relationship that isn’t dead yet. NTR is the dissolution of an established relationship by the end; usually without one half of the couple’s direct input or ability to stop it. A harem is not NTR. Again, we’ll get to that. Swing and a Miss ended up almost handling NTR correctly (except they negated any actual player choice) in the end, it’s meant to completely dissolve a bond. While new ones are usually the result, and generally not what would have been expected based off of how the original couple was at the start. A part of the appeal is usually the straight laced, on either side, finding the wilder one unexpectedly in their own heart. Doesn’t matter which one you play. Male or female. We don’t always chase, or end up chased by what is most healthy, and in a fantasy vein it can be much less devastating to indulge. If handled with care, correctly.

Naughti-er, Nice – 2

– Treat Harem content like it’s “everybody will fuck everybody” or all the girls want each other as badly as the MC. That’s not how it works. At the same point, any female tied to MC in a harem list, should not be able to get pregnant or progress with anyone other than the MC. I don’t care if you want to write the MC aware she has a life outside of him; that’s good story telling, and it can add breathing room to pursue every girl with less concern… but it should be clear that MC is the one the girl is ABSOLUTELY focused on. Romantically. There should never be a question.

– Do a “period” piece wherein to fit your personal political beliefs, whatever they may be, you drastically alter what would have been historically accurate. (A Knight’s Tale as example- I am still not forgiving the wooden dildo polished or not; the stolen but never confirmed virginity, or the lesbianism in this case) It’s fine if you want to do a confident or even overly confident female considering, but it’s called A Knight’s Tale. Not The Lady Likes To Tramp. Also; the older Pike WOULD NOT be made king over his young protege. Simply because he is too old. They’d be facing the same freaking problem in perhaps another decade. Two if he was exceptionally lucky and those societies did not survive such racous economical upheavals. ** You had the perfect option to throw the MC a bone and prove you could correct course to some extent, and you throw it away so the least possible willing “submissive” who is Mini Katherine in waiting, can be an actual princess. Rudolph’s not the only red one here folks. Just, Jesus…

– Forget in case my second Do’s point is too convoluted to manage for whatever reason, to keep the walkthroughs up to date. For the love of whatever god, goddess or demon you might worship. (I won’t judge, but I may laugh my ass off, if we all end up being wrong about what comes next)

– Leave coal in my stocking (I much prefer to do it all for the cookies, dark side or no) These are mostly personal if not quite objective opinions. Following at least some of them would improve a lot of the games I’ve played. Also… just; why in the hell did GILF become a thing? Who’s idea of a twisted joke was that? I know there’s an Arthurian myth meant to teach that there’s value in a person beyond how they look… but the girl transforms back to a beautiful maid again after the knight proves his care for more than how she looks. BECAUSE people Do generally follow certain aesthetics in pleasing tastes. Come on guys, you might be odd balls because as game devs it’s pretty much like with writer, a job requirement if I’m honest but fuck me… Sideways. Or any way, I’m not real picky some days.

Conclusion

On that note, perhaps it’s best if it’s my very own Silent Night. After all, it’s calm, and fairly bright. Now if only I could find some young virgin to make round by the time I get out of hibernation, Merry Christmas to All… and see you around, for some slow pokes.

Now, it could get polar in here depending on your tastes, but I’ve been clear about my favored content in the past. Bear with me a moment. It’ll be less painful than facing one, I promise. The game has just recently been reworked, and while some of it is I’d say to start to the better; not all of it. The main sister for instance. In the beginning the last go around she was actually one of perhaps two reasons to keep playing.

I will say though that Katie ended up being fairly more softened by what they’d been going with up to now… so I was willing to call her a proper Tsundere. It can be done well, and I’ve seen examples. It’s just never going to be the type I respond well to. In real life, they do not work as means to get what you actually want. Because you never can tell. Which is the problem. So honestly, the best sister starts insanely hostile and I GET what they’re going for; with a chemistry that conflicts physically with her words. However, she is also a gate to the player who is new. Not everyone is going to sign on to be abused. No matter how good the art work is.

Where It All Began – Blog

I’ve played the game since the start and I like it’s core content, so long as you don’t change certain mechanics (Though that drugged end bit in the first one and the part where Katie poisons you, yeah those I would be fine with you leaving well the fuck out thanks) you’re pretty much reworking an already well done story that stumbled a bit on execution. I will state bald it’s a bit weird to talk of open relationships in general when you pick NO NTR.

In that context you’d think that it’d be less an option to bother talking of harems than Miru will just bloody accept that it is going to happen. (Most will likely aim for it, and I appreciate that it was added straight up as an option to avoid NTR content, this is more a suggestion to avoid player confusion) If Katie is going to be a bitch to you like she was in the first game, the elder sister NEEDS to be the one whose got your back.

Where It All Began – Game Review

Built the way he is and with the fact he’s already ghosted them once, she should be AWARE of that. So even if she’s pissed and royally so, talk about it during the story’s progress. (I’d also say she never needed anyone else at all she was ever involved with; as a sign to show her actual interest has always been and WILL ALWAYS be the player character) There needs to be at least one character to invest completely in without fear of NTR at all.

* This doesn’t have to be one of the sisters… there’s always the lawyer lady or the cop, anyone who played the first round knows who I’m talking about. Whether you choose to play with Risk to conquer the world, or not. That all said, I appreciate what you’re trying to do with the restart. Shoring up the story will never go over badly on my part.

Number 4 is Simple Days

I know, I know. I’m old, I’m not that forgetful. I just had this one up to talk about. However, they’ve made some changes to the content in a recent update, which have added a few bona fide improvements. Good work, and actually managing to put out consistent updates that don’t troll fans (I still haven’t forgiven Good Girl Gone Bad for that ‘pregnant by my Dad’ scene btw) do get rewarded.

Simple Days

I’m less certain of having to face off against a mob style boss over the little blue pill manufactering but hey… at least it’s an attractive female. I’m sure they might come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. With blood tied between them. (Hint, hint. Not every bad guy or girl needs to be or have a dick to get what they want. Forty licks to get to the center of a… or a big swirled stick up top, sometimes satisfaction means sweat in the shop) If this is supposed to be O-Town; treat it like the song. Because I want it all… and you know why ultimatums are bad for relationships.

Damn I have problems with how passive that tune is. Maybe it’s on auto? Anyway, Ahem… onward. Some of the girls are getting no time, and that’s a point I’d switch. Alina’s been gated behind boyfriend BUT Naomi isn’t even on the dockect whether she’s in your list or not. In my game she’s already had one kid with her boyfriend… So WHY IS SHE THERE? I don’t want to see the girls that are going to be in my harem have blood ties ELSEWHERE.

Come on man. That just kills the whole damned fantasy. With Emma you did it right. All you’d really have to do is give player one opportunity on any given ovulating night to be with Naomi. Solved problem.

Simple Days – Game Review

Have the pink haired Asian set it up to get her friend in the harem too. I don’t care. I do NOT want to have to restart the game and grind that long, just because you want a character on the Harem list at some point. The pregnancy feature SHOULD be tied ONLY to the MC. No one else. To some players, it is an issue that will cost you subs. Not every game needs even just the shades of NTR.

That’s where I’ll leave the criticism. Good job, and hopefully the game will keep going. Barring a few small bumps like Zara being never able to get anywhere with for far too long, and one of the ones I’d like to pursue being nowhere near you at a certain point in the story (The one who got you the job, or heck the daughter you supposedly saved might do as a replacement for her mom) It’s a good bit of story work so far. Keep up the keeping up, silver star.

Number 3 Savior

First thing out of the way; this game should be a harem. Pure and simple. There are too many girls, and the story’s convoluted as fuck. It’s not necessarily a bad one, per say. All that qualification out of the way though, it’s messy. That’s a problem. We have no idea what the MC can actually do; one of the major girls is put in basically to be his equal but that actively nerfs the MC’s importance and his ability to be useful to any of the girls. The younger daughter does NOT need to be involved with another girl, if her main interest is her “brother.” All of the girls need to be more clear about who they want, and why.

Savior

They do not treat the MC very well in general and there needs to be a reason for the player to think it’s not wasting time to build anything with them. I do like that it’s gradual, but the Dating Sim issue does make me hesitant to see where things will go. I don’t like the notion I might have to choose just one, if I’ve got to be working to get all of them on my side to get the good end of the story. It doesn’t track very well as a dating sim if that’s true.

It’s simply a harem where you don’t get the harem end, and it doesn’t have the tag (I actually have a massive problem with most Harem Anime where they dick you around for sometimes a season or two before the end and dumb ass MC picks only the “best girl.” WHY was it a HAREM?) Ahem… sorry, hairball. Occupational hazzard with this much fur. What, I’m blue, big and fuzzy, and yes… I can lick my own balls. Merry Christmas, and you’re welcome for that mental image.

Savior – Game Review

The part where you play James Bond in training is basically undercut by jumping worlds. Since it turns out to be sort of, also timelines. Somehow… unless you’re planning to cross the streams in a way that doesn’t involve a lot of sploogey marshmallow guts at the end, maybe best to pick one of the two genres and stick there instead. Less mess involved to code for a start.

Just a thought. Overall, I’d say let the main character have the POWER spotlight; DO NOT mark the young already SJW tinged sister character who’s actually not badly done, as the sexual butt monkey… just to make the audience care about her (It’s in bad taste. She’s already a hard sell with the girlfriend as far as her interests and breaking the puppy is never going to win anyone points.

Brownies of a certain stash involved or not) This one is an interesting game insofar as it has potential that’s being stretched too thin and it doesn’t yet know what it wants. Cast the widest net possible and you might get something out of it, but it probably isn’t gonna be what you hoped for at the start.

Right out the gate I will share to me, the game had potential; but it’s a really HARD sell. There is no way to turn off the NTR options. They play up a demonic end of the world style endgame they haven’t gotten to yet. You can either play the hero and build a team or be the villain and take what you want.

Your wife really doesn’t need to be in the game. Your wife’s news anchor friend is hot as fuck; but I haven’t managed to win her into the list of girls I’m regularly bedding because I don’t tend to play through dark options. (You should just NOT be able to save her husband and stop dicking around about that. She’s IN the game on your team, or she’s your bitch as a dark one. No in between. Also FUCK OFF for the couples sharing party that really is the only way to even remotely see her in a sex scene thus far.

Deliverance

I god damned hate when NTR is not MY CHOICE) There are far too many times you don’t get to finish inside of a girl. Sarah is basically the anal queen because if it was the way I’d want to finish in personal choice, there’s no way with as much time as she gets in the story she wouldn’t be pregnant. Rose is a mystery as to how she feels about you.

Oh, and joy of joy… your girl is forced to feel sexual pulses to the dark Lord. One of them gets stolen… WHY? Do NOT fuck around with the idea that the MC will lose one of them. Cheap trick to get people emotionally invested and as above it’s more likely to lose you subs in the long run. Your story’s barely fleshed enough to make any sense. You don’t have the leeway to muck with the outcome by that great an extent.

I’ve stuck around only to see if you can write yourself out of this corner and if I do end up with an actual Harem (Which does NOT count as NTR. A harem is MC loves all his women, and they are loyal to him to the point they are willing to share him with each other since they are all equal to his mind. Not the MC loves all his women and they will all fuck each other, as well as occasionally him.

Gah. I really wish many of you devs would get that point. That can be my Christmas present) End game needs to be in sight. For those that like NTR what it actually is by definition means SARAH SHOULD NOT BE THE STOLEN TARGET. The relationship is firmly broken if you go that route. Fully. Wifey can move on, and be with demon boy… and you can have the actual vampire harem.

The wife sharing shouldn’t be the only way to see Andrea, and it would be the most complex route. Nevermind the best friend still being alive. In a game where you can have like five different girls, why are you trying to make people pick one? Most of them are hard sells to be honest. Sue me, I’m okay with Neopolitan.

1. WVM

We all knew what was coming. Heck, give me the option to put a basketball in Skye’s belly as my only harem “boy,” (I don’t have a problem with the way she sees herself, but I have my views on the issue; and I’m not going to apologize. I like the character. I think this is a rare well written case where “he” can accept that there are things the body wants, regardless of mental dissonance, since MC is generally a good egg.

WVM – AdultGamesOn Blog

He is Skye’s best relationship option, or can be painted as such. It’s a good touching on issue that doesn’t have to go full bore, or make a loud statement. That’s really the best anyone can ask as far as story engagement) As well as meet her on the court and you’d get the answer. Harper too. Frankly this is the one game where it’s basically all cake. And I get to eat it too.

So far, anyway. I’d still cut out the body positivity thing (Working out IS actually being positive about your body, so long as you’re doing it for yourself and generally maintenance or to get stronger because it’s your goal. Sometimes the negative feedback can push you into that, but that is the positive outcome. It can be very satisfying to have the subtle revenge when you look good and your bully sparks interest in someone they wouldn’t have looked twice at) Beyond that point, I just want to see where the story goes.

I’d like the option to either Low Key marry them all; or end up somewhere that’s possible. Also… babies. Lots of babies, as promised. (If you really wanna throw me for a loop, go with the Song ‘Maybe He’s An Angel’ as a reason for the MC not aging, and being able to draw so many hot women to want to breed with him: He’s probably connected enough that you can play with the whole island of a hundred and twenty wives… It did happen in reality, it’s been documented it’s just a very rare thing) ** If you wanna go Super Saiyan levels of grim/dark with it, maybe Ren and his whole harem is his Heaven.

Maybe he gets to score that winning goal to prove he can get into the NBA, but at the end his heart gives out from unknown genetic factor. So the whole game’s been a dream sequence from the start, since he’s been dead the whole time. Maybe he focused more on sport than on his romantic wants and the Heaven is his means of dealing with the road not taken… Depends on how much you like mucking with the audience. I probably shouldn’t give you ideas on how to troll me, but I’ll call that a freebie.

Holidaze Bonus Mentions

Gonna throw a bone up to what I’m hoping is more an “Un” than dead game. Reluctant Archon… come back to the light Bro. I’m still waiting. Seriously. Do I need to clap my hands; heck if Sorcerer can add in Fairies, you got a good shot at the raised by a necromancer bit. Just my luck that the game which outside of the already mentioned captain hot pants’ adventures, is my actual spirit animal… gets the boot. By finance? Is it a murder, she wrote… hell if I know.

Maybe he portaled out to bang Glados, and took that left turn at Albuquerque? (Yes, I did have to look up how to spell it correctly, there’s no shame in that) Also, Also… in the mentioned Sorcerer’s fare (or affairs, as the case may be depending on how you see harems, heh) there’s a TV based call out to another game I played that had potential but seems to have all but disappeared.

It’s called Terminus Reach: Sentinel. Last updated long enough ago that I’m pretty sure I should hold a mirror under it’s nose, just to be good and sure. Since the game did have a call out in a game that’s going well, either the author of Sorcerer has friends that made the thing, or it’s a project gone on the back burner because the big flamin’ cheeto got more popular? (Man, you’re the one that made him Ryu with wings… can’t blame me for the jokes) Seriously, I like and or love the concept of all three games.

Sorcerer is going well (Though one point… as an actual Christmas Wish either work to build the walkthrough into the game directly since not every player likes fail states; or keep the mod consitent. I’ve been forced to play the last two updates on Quick Save just to not fuck up my main one on either route, because I can’t see what the right answers are)

Conclusion

On Dasher, On Dancer… Whatd’you mean it’s as serious as Cancer, what happened to the Rhythm, it ran off into the night? Oh bollocks… On Cupid and Blizten. Eh, there are too many others. Story

So far, it’s not a bad one. Exactly. I do have a bit of an issue with the no males at all thing, as far as breeding goes. How in the heck are there any families at all. Any children. Next gen, even if you have the technology, biologically you ARE missing one key component. Since this game is all focused on one gender, I’ll let you try to figure out what all natural essence you need to put inside where babies come from to get one.

If you can’t, that’s more of a “you” problem at this point. Now, I don’t have a problem with Bi or even strongly lesbian content, it’s not to my tastes and that’s fine… but even on the point of structuring the world to make males secondary; freaking include them! Otherwise you can’t even actually do test tube babies. So the whole story falls apart within ten seconds thought. Have the MC grumble about girls being so much hotter, cooler, or that all the dads are homekeepers, and caretakers, that the Heroes eventually choose to breed with purely on the point of wanting progeny. Have her admit it’s kind of wrong to keep a male servant, while they’ll always marry a woman with powers.

Hell even state that they can only choose one male so most are seriously careful about it, but legally they can choose to hold a harem: it would be a nod to the fact one can be built. I don’t know how, but we’ll get there later… I wouldn’t enjoy the point of emasculation at all,but it’d be a nod to common sense. The story is really about someone who wants to be a hero.

With a power that frankly doesn’t seem that special. Morph. Morph, people come on the show wasn’t that long ago… Mystique. No? Nothing, really? Okay then. The interesting point is this version can borrow powers. She might even be able to keep them indefinitely; but that only comes up later. There are stats in game you WILL have to worry about, but as far as in story they don’t apply too heavily (except for one point I will be covering in mechanics) The over-arching tale is Emma’s journey to becoming a super hero herself, and the friends she meets, and porks along the way… Whether or not it makes any sense at all will come down to how you feel about LGBT content.

Honestly never thought I’d actively argue that one of the supers should let Emma permanently transmute into a Futa… dear god, what have you done Devs? * Mind Breaks * (Yes, this is a dark joke, mostly)

Mechanics

There is a stat building system and a mostly binary option for game choices. Mostly. I will say the bars are ridiculous. The date scenes thus far have requirements it doesn’t actually let you continue from. No matter WHAT YOU CHOOSE. That needs to be fixed. ASAP. There is no point to an adult game that’s going to cock tease most of the scenes the players sign up for because the structure of the point bar system is borked.

I took every persuade optoion I could find, and still couldn’t press Sister Dearest about Tonya (who she IS – probably – banging, behind her GF’s back, but you can’t discover it in game at the moment because it doesn’t have the right requirements in stats) If you try to go on the date with Sara instead, it will not let you continue the date saying you need more affection and whatever else. I’ve played through several versions of this game, and tried all variants I could think of to make the scenes work.

They do not. I will cover suggestions later. For now I will say this is not a good showing to most fans of the game. I will argue it’s only at all excusable because the game is not finished yet. That’s as lenient as I would be, since that first date choice between spying on your sister or going to spend time with Sarah has been open for about the last five updates. Any one of them could have seen it fixed to be accessible.

The stats do not work; and whose brilliant idea was it to start the MC with a perv power, and then come up with a teacher that automatically borks your ability to use it, even though doing so on her garners her lust… and the second time there’s no punishment. She’ll let you away with it, and give a stern warning, but you’re safe to keep using it. Even though she freaking knows you are? If you want to do X-Ray, fine. Call it out as perving, and it’s actually not. But still, that was the first sign of “asshole mechanics.” It IS a problem. Especially since Lust is one of the things you need to see the H scenes. Onward…

General

The art is actually attractive, and the characters are generally written well enough. I think the ages could be pared down a bit for the teachers. I don’t think you should want to go after the 45 yr old principal for example. The drill sargeant is already married to the texpert, so I don’t know why those two are even on the list. The actual list itself is too big. Even for a Harem. On that point; you might try putting out a walkthrougth that specifically addresses how to get the harem end.“All Other Paths” doesn’t tell most people jack.

A lot of your players may sign up specifically for that point. Though it might be nice to discuss that at some point with the GF you’re saddled with just to delve into NTR. (You should not start the MC with a girlfriend in a dating sim. That’s just needless conflict and to some people will actively block them off from pursuing other characters so it negates like ninety nine percent of your work off the bat) The growth of stats is a little too infrequent, but I do like the concept.

I think the whole bought my way in didn’t really need to be a story point. It’s there for drama’s sake and actively takes something away from the main character when it’s later discovered by the tech wizard that her power is a LOT more complex than just “borrows for an hour.” I think the hero patrols shouldn’t have been started until the dating mechanics were untangled to work properly. I will say it shouldn’t come down to sacrificing one thing for another. It should just be a choice of how you want to build your character. How you want to play “CopyCat.” Which isn’t bad, for a default superhero name with her powerset.

Suggestions: Velvet whip not included, yet…

– First, include the point about males at least existing. Families don’t create themselves out of thin air. Or use Magic. Seriously, something. Anything. It just doesn’t make enough sense.

– Second, either remove stat requirements and let players focus on just building the style of heroine they want without worrying about what scenes they won’t see (since you have to actively choose certain paths which will only let you see certain ones anyway) OR grant more opportunity to gain stats. Without taking any stats away. It’s rather clear you want this character to be “corrupt” so I don’t even understand why that one is there. If it’s a naughtiness meter, rename it. Corruption just makes her sound too much like she’s turning into a villain. Locking scenes is a major no no. For any reason.

– Third, again and this is a MAJOR point: Fix the date scenes not to have stat requirments. It should be about who you want to build affection with. Also, choosing mostly the good girl options SHOULD NOT exclude Anya. Put something in where you can actively choose to help her understand her means of dealing with people will hurt her more in the long run. Extrapolate on her family life or something… there’s a reason why she behaves like this. A Harem game DOES NOT make you choose which players you want because the whole point is you have a big enough heart to go after them all and make them love you. It’s not just Pokemon with sex. If it was, you could name them all Ditto.

– Fourth, in as far as staying loyal to your girl, or Mei staying with Imani I’d actually recommend a choice right at the beginning. Before even choosing what skill you focused on during the summer. Make it “What Am I Really After?” Then put “Definitely A Harem” marks the harem end to keep.

“A Stable Family and A Good Girlfriend” (which doesn’t have to be Meg, and might also end up being Imani) as the dating sim marker for keeping just one girl. Or just “To Screw Around and Do What I Want.” The last being the complete corruption and NTR route, which will have the consequence of breaking it off with Meg, probably trying to pork all the girls, but not ending up well enough in trust with any to keep a relationship. Sort of an I’m all powerful; but I don’t realize in being drunk on that point alone, how fucked up my life’s going to become.

Just a thought. It might make it easier to code out though. One point on number Four; do not make them intersect. Do not walk it back, or let the player. That ruins the point of structuring it out like that in the first place. It’s still very replayable this way, in three separate paths and you can argue on the dating sim version that it’s even more replayable because you’d choose who you want to spend time with and date by doing so as you go. Which would at a set affection lock you in, so you’d stop seeing any of the others as options.

You could argue I’m wrong. I’m not a programmer, but by pushing out certain focused character content in that one path you’d also have a good excuse to string the paetrons along, while also not blue… uhm, the ones up top still count as balls, no? You get the point people, c’mon.

Go ahead, shoot the messenger. Since at the moment it’s the only shot going off. I did say it’s not to my general tastes. If it suit’s yours, you’ll know how to find the little man in a boat, because if you’re into good artwork and well fleshed character work, it’s going to be raining. Just not men. Some people might still say Hallelujah. Wolfe Out.

I cop to the fact I might have mentioned this one before. However it’s updated fairly consistently. It’s not a bad game, if it would make the story’s end game a bit more clear. Yes, it’s technically a harem game; but one of the creatures that has you under the thumb is a powerful fey. Who frankly is way too much femdom. Can we get to the point we take her down already??? Come on. There are also a few in the roster you guys aren’t real focused on. Too many cooks in the kitchen maybe. It’s a problem for a lot of harems. Number 4 My New Family

My New Family

Still kind of miffed about the granny issue… but always a solid choice for endearing characters. Sometimes a few too many pancake jokes, and it would be nice to state that if one of the girls can be a cat; the MC can just be effectively immortal. Which would explain why he’s so bloody accepting. It’s called Changeling. Ever heard of them, they’re not that hard to look up. It would also explain the different view point, and the deeper bond between Lucy and MC. If you can have a nun, and nerdy neko lovers, Fairies aren’t that far off a mark. Just saying.

Now… hear me out, I know I already wrote a rather less than flattering review about this game. I still haven’t played it since aside from once. They haven’t changed the energy mechanics as far as I know, so to my mind the management system either needs a LOT of tweaks, or it just plain needs to go. However, I know there are plenty of people who like challenge; even if it is a four letter word to me. So if you’re one of those, the animations are attractive. They have done consistent work on the title.

Love & Sex Second Base

It comes out fairly regularly, so it’s dependable to a certain degree. I’ll have to let you know whether this new update is any good. I could probably post a review of that review. Maybe in a few more posted versions. To me, it’s a wait and see, but for the work that’s been done and the content that some might enjoy regardless, I feel it can be recommended. Just, less so by me. Caveat Emptor, but have at it; if hard work to get the girl and I do mean HARD btw, is your deal. More power to you people.

Number 2 is The Guy In Charge

For starters, this game does need a clear path to the Harem end. I get that there’s supposed to be an NTR tag, and fair enough… but if you want to make it a dating sim DO NOT let people pursue both females. It SHOULD be just a harem game. There doesn’t need to be a way to “fuck up.” Leave that to Devon. Now that said, once you get the hang of where the girls are in their daily schedules it’s not too hard to do what’s needed.

The Guy in Charge

There are a few break points to pass to see the sexual events that I think should be a lot more clear on the “how in the hell do I do this exactly?” I did have to use the cheats, and that might have borked things more than I like.

Here’s the thing, your game has been out long enough that in raw rebalancing (which should be done before trying to add too much new content) you should have had better options to gain money, and higher events for raising the girls stats. What can be done in a day is not bad, to start with but it takes about a month to get either girl up to the part where they might want to date you.

The Guy in Charge – Blog

Realistic, not really. Painful regardless, uhm, yes. That out of the way the animations are attractive. The little sister could be less of a ball buster, and I’d really rather not be porking my own Mom. I get that it’s the draw for some people. However that is also the reason she’s as hesitant about sex, and moreso about getting pregnant.

So really, add in a question about what relation they are to you, and you’d cover all bases. That way you could rework the stats needed, or clear up whatever event is blockading the path a lot easier. Which might just be my opinion. I’d recommend at least one playthrough per the alpha path (or NTR path if that’s your bag, it’ll just be someone else’s baby) It’s a solid game with decent potential. I’ve kept watch to see how it’ll grow, and not just for nine months to count.

Number 1 in our top is occupied WVM (I did warn you guys)

Interestingly this one lost a few points with me, technically, on the last “update.” The dev explained a big life situation so it could be anything but it’s moving to more beta testing in updates because of it. This is more me warning you as much as it’s already bald in the game. Which is to their credit, and I respect it. I can be understanding, and would wait for the full updates.

WVM

I like the game and where it’s been going that much. Now, it might turn some off, and that’s fine. Ren’s eyes can be a bit weirdly puppy doggish and frankly you could argue several of the other girls are hotter. I wouldn’t care. Main girl is best girl in this case. Fight me; or don’t… I still have that basketball career. With this one I can state that I have faith the devs understand what it was they wanted to accomplish.

They have a plan, and they’ve introduced a way forward even with some of the ‘outside the ring’ characters. Which shows they are willing to listen to constructive criticisms or enthusiastic feedback. That’s rare. Good as diamonds. Now if we can get Skye to be loose-y we might be- alright; that was a bad one. I’m not even that big a fan of the Beatles.

Barring some less certain points, and again perhaps a little too much willingness to inject ‘body positivity,’ for my tastes the game is very well crafted. There’s more I can say, but I can’t recall if I’ve actually written this one as a full review at the moment. So, if you’ll excuse me…

Don’t fear the reaper, and if you must shoot the messenger people, try doing it blind-folded. Promise I won’t tell, and my name sure ain’t William. Before you ask, no I couldn’t think of a better time to have chosen to do a review of this game if I tried. Damned near everyone’s a freak like me. Honest. I’m not the shortest stack to see, and there’s even one with a leg more busted then mine is. Yippee.

Now, that’s not to say there’s not some brilliant character work. I’ve already discussed how impressed I am with the crafted tale in general in the recommendations, so I’ll spare you the rewind, and get into some gory-er details. First, you start as a man who was orphaned. You end up as the patron of a demon (I know I hate when that happens, personally) raised by a group of nuns who for once don’t have a stick up their… Ahem, yeah, you know.

Anyway, the point being you’re not just some rando shot-in-the-head courier. There’s still gonna be some fallout… The game makes it quite clear, very quickly that your arse is more Hefner than Potter.

Now that’s not to say every hot scene is. Your mileage and tastes may vary. Widely in fact, and this game allows for that. In the most recent update for example, you finally get to sample a person who adores you that works for you (It was about time she thought, that she should work under you too. I know you know what I mean) There’s several very viable options, and you’ll end up in a harem lifestyle, whether you like it or not.

The thing being, it’s to your direct benefit, with an excellently thought out reason for the lore-based antiquated breeding program. Honestly my only real problem with it is sometimes the who, the why, and the fact the devs haven’t actually gotten to that result yet. It’s implied that some want it, and there’s one so far that’s got the best chance. With the legless wonder soldier girl (I get to call her that; mine’s not too much better on the right side, but at least it’s still attached) being a close second behind. I do think there wasn’t a reason to divide the paths.

Sorcerer – 2

The human side has you rutting with monsters as well. The monster side has you mostly boinking humans, so it’s a little less impactful than it could be otherwise. I do think a choice between light Lord and Dark would add more to the BDSM style than the notions implied rather playfully. By the women. I don’t as a dominant mind myself, who doesn’t mind when someone calls me “Master” (Eh, it’s not gonna happen, but it could, and I would enjoy it) like specifically when the MC doesn’t get the choice to decide it should be allowed. He just arbitrarily decides screw that noise.

Don’t call me Lord, though that’s what I am. Don’t call me master, though you’re basically magically bound to my house and to breed with me, for the rest of your lives. Okay, bit weird, but okay. I do like the compromise with the burnout issue. Coming up with a better defined backstory for why he doesn’t need to care about that was effective.

I don’t know what it means for his mortal state, and a few monstrous people afterward refer to him as human, without any corrections. It’s a bit odd, but I can take it as an oversight, because new lore. Might take a while for him to trust, or get used to enough to point it out. As I said before in the recommendations, he does need to get on actually building a house.

Sorcerer – 3

On the breeding part of that. On setting things up so it’s defensible. The great houses calling his arse in that late in the game, just to say no we deny your right to be a house; bullshit. Especially with the lore in the background. You LITERALLY wrote that the whole world cannot afford lacking sorcerers to the point the houses are all effectively a mass breeding program.

They’re rare enough that denying anyone that has said power to back one up, to make one, is not just stupid. It’s below the benchmark for actually retarded. Yes, I know what the word means; it is the correct usage. If it offends, fix the issue. Then it won’t be. Hell, I half thought that the two girl Lords were going to recruit him, or offer to bend so they’d be part of his. That’s the kind of politics that belong in this harem game.

Also, a troll should be able to have enough magic as a water caster to transmogrify into a more physically appealing form if sex is what she wants from MC. There are better times, and places to moralize, stuff like that is just jarring and will cost you some audience. You did so with the hag, which means you’re aware of the fact people have aesthetic values that should be respected. Again, I like Xhou as a character, but there are other ways, better ways to make you care about her family, and have her allied to the harem.

Mechanics

Really at the end, there aren’t many. There’s a binary path for most choices, but there are enough of them I have to recommend that if you play the game fresh, install the multi mod. It will help you not muck things up. Whether you go human or monster side doesn’t seem to matter all that much to the story, and that’s a shame. There’s not really any dark options, and frankly I like being the hero, but again that doesn’t mean I can’t also be okay with being the one in charge. Jesus.

The artwork is beautiful, the sex scenes don’t drag on that long, but considering how many girls he’s starting to pile up, I’d reach a cut off point soon. The foreplay scenes are going to get unrealistic based on how much seed a guy actually has. Hot blooded or not. I checked it, I see. He’s got a fever of six hundred and three. And on that sour note… what happened to all the mirrors. Ah, damn the luck.

Conclusion

Overall, barring a few nitpicks, this game is a good one. It’s out consistently. It usually has just one link to download (not always, and I hope they work on that point, it gets confusing) The story is progressing nicely, and I am at least sure that all the choices of who gets to your bed will help. Somehow, or way.

Sorcerer – 4

Frankly if Helga can be a magic smith, I don’t see why her sister wouldn’t be able to create some decent armor. Just a thought, since she seems to think a clan of trolls would be “useless” to a great house. I’d say take the shaman, take the promised healer and get the story going, as far as growing the house’s power. You basically have a full main cast.

What with Dagna, the archivist, the spoiler, and the head agency female who probably wants you on her team (so does everybody else Nelly) That doesn’t even count the demon hunters. At least two of them should be on team Harem. For my vote. There’s no reason to overcrowd it. He’s rich as balls, but he’s also only got two to give. No need to bust em.

Unless it’s screaming into a banshee’s wail, and deep inside her. And once more… I’ve probably vexed the crowd. Curses, I got the wrong letter again. Happy Howl-o-Ween, my friends. I’ll be back, but right now, I see a bad moon rising. Stay frosty, because it sure as Lucifer’s petticoat won’t be the MC.
