Although it is in the developing phase, where I cannot say much about how it will be carried on.

So this time I chose playing novel mode as I played free mode earlier as my save data was no more. I will tell you the difference once I explain a little about the game.

At the start you will be with your girlfriend, living in a college dorm. You will get a call from the doc to join her as her assistant for this summer. You will join her and from there you will start the journey. There are four girl patients, last year there were boys but this time it’s different…maybe because you are there. Along with four hotties, there are two other girls who will help you throughout in all ways.

As for the story, it’s treating these patients using psychological methods like team-building exercises and other methods. I know you are not interested in these things but this will make you learn more about them to choose with whom you want to have fun. Although you will be able to have fun with all (a little more with some). Graphics are decent with good animations and could be better but sufficient to try this game.

Now the difference between playing the free world and the novel version, when I played the free world there was this male doctor in the game but this time it wasn’t. Maybe he is completely disowned. There are in-game items you need to collect items to excess exclusive images. Overall it’s a good game to play as it is a different story with hotties.

Number 3 is Straitened Times

If you love to grind a lot this is the game for you. You can hate it as much as you like but this is one of those games you will never get out of your mind. I know it’s hard to grind that much but you are Jack this game will be like Rose for you. Some of you might not get the reference but that is not so important now. There are some novels whose graphics will attract you like a super magnet, but others have their special aura of story and ability to produce dopamine in your body like the all-time OG Summertime Saga.

As already mentioned this game has a low level of graphics, not that low but yeah you will feel it at the start. Animations are quite repetitive. You will find it boring sometimes but that is normal with these kinds of games. You will also have to go through the same scenes many times to trigger the next scenes.

What you will love in the game is how the story progresses. You will always find yourself wanting to know more but this will not be easy like other games. This is what makes it different from others. The story is also good as far as I have played. I have also stuck at some points and it was difficult to know how to trigger the next scene. I had to start it again to make it happen but you don’t have to. I will help you if you need some advice.

Number 2 goes to College Kings

I know how much you love these college games. This is also my favorite genre of novel. Well why it wouldn’t be, we all have gone through or are going through those nostalgic emotions. I already had suggested some of them but there are many more to be experienced. College Kings is one of them. Initially, when I played this game I got addicted to it. I played every other route this game had but that was way back in the budding phase of the game.

Having so many things to do in college you might think it will all be the same as you have played so many but it’s not the same. The structure of these are all the same but what makes them different is the story that makes the difference. I am sure you will have a blast playing this game.

Along with these many routes, you will find it quite difficult to decide what to choose. I tried various choices to get along with the ones I would like to continue but it was too difficult. I couldn’t find the best route for me to carry on. Not only this but also with the animations I wasn’t sure I am that connected to them. This made me skip this game just before they went to Europe.

But if there are these many problems, then why am I suggesting this game. This is solely because of the launch of chapter 2 of the game. This chapter gave me options to choose how I would like to continue my story from the last chapter. This made me play this game more enthusiastically. Not only choosing the path but they also worked on improving the graphics and animations. This is the reason I played this game 3 days straight. I know it has faults but who doesn’t. You should give it a try.

When I first stumbled on this game I skipped it, didn’t play it, and though it is just a normal game with old graphics but when it came again with a newer version I thought of giving it a try. Number 5 is WVM

Since there is actively a callout to that game on Susan’s TV. If so, it would be great to see progress in either game, or go leapfrog for a few years.

So another one looks ready to move to the next stage. At least so far as the updates hint in this current version. Not sure it’s a good thing considering “everyone I love is pregnant” (not even remotely true since we haven’t got to make the Nun ours yet. The weebs have been teasing, the doc’s not quite on board; the bakery duo are there but not yet brides.

I found it a bit odd that it would let you play to the point Moko’s friend is invited on the day that she’s ovulating and then most of the day where it’d be important event is skipped through normal daily stuff.

Number 5 is Project Hot W

It stands for Wife. Come on guys, you’re not fooling anyone. First, I’ll say this style of game isn’t specifically my cup of tea. I was willing to give it a shot for telling both sides. Except for in earlier runs, it made the male again be straight up desirous to be a cuckold. It might have played with the idea that he was not, and it was actually not a bad move to get him to play along because he was as attracted to the blonde as they want to hint the wife is becoming.

I will say “hotwife” does not necessarily imply “will fuck anybody.” If she has a husband, yes she can be a latent lesbian but really, how often does that happen. It is a little more common for women to be attracted to women overall. Not every cuckold story needs lesbianism. I would say it’s enough to include the blonde as bi, and give the players who want to go that route the option to see those scenes.

I do like that it feels like what they tried to do. I don’t like the point bar system since it effectively bars you from the bigger scenes. They might have worked out the kinks from the last time I’ve tried or added a few more. I can say the art work is hot enough to please most but the hard judges. Besides, at least this time the walkthrough’s up to date. If a bit of spice and crowbarred “adventure” is your thing; maybe you’ll give this game a shot. For me, it’s Pat Bennatar. It can hit me with the best it’s got, and it’s just another notch in a broken bed’s post.

Now, for some this game could be weird.
Personally I think it’s less a dating sim than a should be harem. Last I tried it, the story was a bit wonked. The artwork is intriguing enough. I think this last update’s added some elements that make it worth checking on, and I might do a full review for it at some point. Maybe. If it can decide what it wants to be, to start.

There’s the obligatory best friend who becomes more, an oddball who might actually be more than she seems and really… that decribes about the whole rest of the cast, in fact. Guess I might just leave it at that. After all, seeing is believing, and better a blew moon, than a pair of big fuzzy blue balls.

Number 3 Starship Inanna

Since this one just got updated, I also just finished a playthrough. I will say I have a small problem not being able to pick the color of my skin in chosen gender. I don’t mind playing a black guy, even if I’m Casper’s not so distant cousin should we want to break the fourth wall for a bit (There are walls; when did we get those, who put them here anyway?) Point being, the character creation choices leave a bit to be desired.

Even in the fact I’ve played earlier versions of the game thus far, I can’t say I will do a full review. The story’s a bit bonkers, and really most of it a fair few players will ultimately skip through. I do find it fucked that a game that IS a harem game, only lets you choose an “entourage” of three characters, when it actually GETS to the harem part. I also find it screwed up that you include a gay girl on a male MC run; and a few who’d rather not be in that lifestyle at all.

There should be an “do I want to be gay” option in the character creation point, rather than just including males on a male run. Half the characters in the room when you’re choosing your “entourage” will not participate. They don’t need to be there. You do understand the whole concept of a harem; right? Which on that point, I should be able within any story based “time limit,” to spend time with all of the desired romanceable characters.

Not just two and then move on. I should be able to fuck more than one, on a given day. If I’ve been dating one of the alien females for at least two weeks and you press forward time, don’t you think we can skip past all the you can look but don’t touch, I’m just going to tease the holy (when are we going to-) fuck out of you. Come on. I get going slow on the “power fantasy” but that IS what a harem is. You either accept that base point, or you don’t.

Do not show me a cake if you don’t want me to eat it. I’d also state it’s screwed up to sterilize anyone, and/or have characters who’ve already had children, who still don’t want to bother letting the MC have the shot. Call it a pet peeve, since they’re on that road… it’s not one that can’t be fixed; so I’ll hold my breath. (See again, already got blue balls… and they’re fuzzy)

2. College Bound

First, a game that wants to be all about splitting a couple up, or potentially doing so, should just not have the “couple” at the start. Second, if it IS going to be about spliiting the couple up, the girlfriend does not need to be this level of bipolar. Schitzophrenic, or self-involved. The first time she wants to give the MC her viriginity he gets a random “emergency” call from a mutual acquaintence.

GF shuts him down for sex no matter if he does nothing, and the PLAYER isn’t really given a choice not to go. That’s not smart Devs. She can suspect, and should for a fair part of the game if the MC isn’t spending time with her; but most GF’s will not automatically think their partner is cheating, unless THEY are doing something on the side themselves. Or they are massively insecure and mentally unstable.

College Bound

Which is really all I took from GF’s current reactions every time we talked. Guys ALSO don’t tend to like overly clingy girls. There’s a difference between possessive, seeking loyalty and outright I will never trust you and want you to not even look at anyone else. Yandere is not attractive. Ever. At all. It’s a troupe that needs to die by it’s own sword.

Honestly it’s BAD that I like Bianca more than GF, since Bianca isn’t naturally the girl you should trust WOULD be loyal to you, given how things between you start. The fact she is all about sex, and pretty much only that as an introduction. The building is just bam. Too fast to think serious is what she’s actually aiming for. Though I admit, it would be a massive and quite pleasant subversion of all my expectations if she’s the one you lock down who’s absolutely on your side; eventually get married and breed like bunnies.

I would like to be wrong, because Rainbows do happen, and GF is about the biggest storm cloud on the horizon. (Not that I ever played aiming to be loyal, because come the fuck on… there’s how many females right from the start, who all seem at least somewhat interested) The principal basically forcing you to be sexual would get her canned. You could bring her ass up on SO MANY charges. Guess what, a cellphone records, any principal worth her salt would know it, and it wouldn’t even need to be about the camera pics.

He lets it run with the vocals, and it doesn’t fucking matter if all they see is wood panels. She’s incriminated herself, and he goes to Paris gratis. Probably footed by the school district’s super intendant. Just to avoid further liability. Probably room and board paid too, in a smaller than could be settlement.

I’m just saying, I like that you try to ground it, but there ARE other ways than MC’s dick to get him out of that situation. Ways that don’t have to be a jigsaw puzzle; since he shouldn’t be written like some absolutely dense git. (He’s dense enough to impress Bianca, and I get it…) It’s good art, hot scenes and if you’d add an actual harem outcome; or even a way to diplomatically talk about the option with a GF who might just get used to it, all the better to me. Beyond that… it depends on whether you want to take the risk MC one day won’t wake up in a bathtub, missing a few key organs he might need. If his girl does find out.

At this point, starting to think this should just be a place holder. To me, this game is basically the gold standard for what a harem setting should be. They course corrected in listening to fan criticism and they’ve handled the story well. It makes sense, and it is about building relationships. All of them, with less visceral consequences. Dark skin, yes, and please. Thank you. Dark souls, has no power here folks. I do hope that continues.

I’ve stated what I’d hope to see in the content upcoming, and overall, the harem as stands is big enough to focus the next few updates in fleshing character/relationship developments. I’d say if you’re going to add anything else, maybe stop for girls added soon. He’s going to need an actual castle to house them all, if you don’t.

Never mind having to win the lottery, or come into some SERIOUS inheritance money to pay for all his princess’. I’m still hopeful, and waiting patiently to play a game I have to admit, I was leary of when I saw you could make the best friend trans, and that you could choose to “cheat” or pursue your friend even knowing you had a GF. I’d gotten so used to those being traps the GF’s reaction was literal gold. A god send, and so relieving.

You have no idea how much I want to thank you guys, just for that one point. Everything else you’ve done, or might do, I’m all that much more hopeful about. (No, I’m not giving up on the “so many” babies. I don’t mind if it takes a few months, or years, in updates. I promise)

Now, it could get polar in here depending on your tastes, but I’ve been clear about my favored content in the past. Bear with me a moment. It’ll be less painful than facing one, I promise. The game has just recently been reworked, and while some of it is I’d say to start to the better; not all of it. The main sister for instance. In the beginning the last go around she was actually one of perhaps two reasons to keep playing.

I will say though that Katie ended up being fairly more softened by what they’d been going with up to now… so I was willing to call her a proper Tsundere. It can be done well, and I’ve seen examples. It’s just never going to be the type I respond well to. In real life, they do not work as means to get what you actually want. Because you never can tell. Which is the problem. So honestly, the best sister starts insanely hostile and I GET what they’re going for; with a chemistry that conflicts physically with her words. However, she is also a gate to the player who is new. Not everyone is going to sign on to be abused. No matter how good the art work is.

Where It All Began – Blog

I’ve played the game since the start and I like it’s core content, so long as you don’t change certain mechanics (Though that drugged end bit in the first one and the part where Katie poisons you, yeah those I would be fine with you leaving well the fuck out thanks) you’re pretty much reworking an already well done story that stumbled a bit on execution. I will state bald it’s a bit weird to talk of open relationships in general when you pick NO NTR.

In that context you’d think that it’d be less an option to bother talking of harems than Miru will just bloody accept that it is going to happen. (Most will likely aim for it, and I appreciate that it was added straight up as an option to avoid NTR content, this is more a suggestion to avoid player confusion) If Katie is going to be a bitch to you like she was in the first game, the elder sister NEEDS to be the one whose got your back.

Where It All Began – Game Review

Built the way he is and with the fact he’s already ghosted them once, she should be AWARE of that. So even if she’s pissed and royally so, talk about it during the story’s progress. (I’d also say she never needed anyone else at all she was ever involved with; as a sign to show her actual interest has always been and WILL ALWAYS be the player character) There needs to be at least one character to invest completely in without fear of NTR at all.

* This doesn’t have to be one of the sisters… there’s always the lawyer lady or the cop, anyone who played the first round knows who I’m talking about. Whether you choose to play with Risk to conquer the world, or not. That all said, I appreciate what you’re trying to do with the restart. Shoring up the story will never go over badly on my part.

Number 4 is Simple Days

I know, I know. I’m old, I’m not that forgetful. I just had this one up to talk about. However, they’ve made some changes to the content in a recent update, which have added a few bona fide improvements. Good work, and actually managing to put out consistent updates that don’t troll fans (I still haven’t forgiven Good Girl Gone Bad for that ‘pregnant by my Dad’ scene btw) do get rewarded.

Simple Days

I’m less certain of having to face off against a mob style boss over the little blue pill manufactering but hey… at least it’s an attractive female. I’m sure they might come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. With blood tied between them. (Hint, hint. Not every bad guy or girl needs to be or have a dick to get what they want. Forty licks to get to the center of a… or a big swirled stick up top, sometimes satisfaction means sweat in the shop) If this is supposed to be O-Town; treat it like the song. Because I want it all… and you know why ultimatums are bad for relationships.

Damn I have problems with how passive that tune is. Maybe it’s on auto? Anyway, Ahem… onward. Some of the girls are getting no time, and that’s a point I’d switch. Alina’s been gated behind boyfriend BUT Naomi isn’t even on the dockect whether she’s in your list or not. In my game she’s already had one kid with her boyfriend… So WHY IS SHE THERE? I don’t want to see the girls that are going to be in my harem have blood ties ELSEWHERE.

Come on man. That just kills the whole damned fantasy. With Emma you did it right. All you’d really have to do is give player one opportunity on any given ovulating night to be with Naomi. Solved problem.

Simple Days – Game Review

Have the pink haired Asian set it up to get her friend in the harem too. I don’t care. I do NOT want to have to restart the game and grind that long, just because you want a character on the Harem list at some point. The pregnancy feature SHOULD be tied ONLY to the MC. No one else. To some players, it is an issue that will cost you subs. Not every game needs even just the shades of NTR.

That’s where I’ll leave the criticism. Good job, and hopefully the game will keep going. Barring a few small bumps like Zara being never able to get anywhere with for far too long, and one of the ones I’d like to pursue being nowhere near you at a certain point in the story (The one who got you the job, or heck the daughter you supposedly saved might do as a replacement for her mom) It’s a good bit of story work so far. Keep up the keeping up, silver star.

Number 3 Savior

First thing out of the way; this game should be a harem. Pure and simple. There are too many girls, and the story’s convoluted as fuck. It’s not necessarily a bad one, per say. All that qualification out of the way though, it’s messy. That’s a problem. We have no idea what the MC can actually do; one of the major girls is put in basically to be his equal but that actively nerfs the MC’s importance and his ability to be useful to any of the girls. The younger daughter does NOT need to be involved with another girl, if her main interest is her “brother.” All of the girls need to be more clear about who they want, and why.

Savior

They do not treat the MC very well in general and there needs to be a reason for the player to think it’s not wasting time to build anything with them. I do like that it’s gradual, but the Dating Sim issue does make me hesitant to see where things will go. I don’t like the notion I might have to choose just one, if I’ve got to be working to get all of them on my side to get the good end of the story. It doesn’t track very well as a dating sim if that’s true.

It’s simply a harem where you don’t get the harem end, and it doesn’t have the tag (I actually have a massive problem with most Harem Anime where they dick you around for sometimes a season or two before the end and dumb ass MC picks only the “best girl.” WHY was it a HAREM?) Ahem… sorry, hairball. Occupational hazzard with this much fur. What, I’m blue, big and fuzzy, and yes… I can lick my own balls. Merry Christmas, and you’re welcome for that mental image.

Savior – Game Review

The part where you play James Bond in training is basically undercut by jumping worlds. Since it turns out to be sort of, also timelines. Somehow… unless you’re planning to cross the streams in a way that doesn’t involve a lot of sploogey marshmallow guts at the end, maybe best to pick one of the two genres and stick there instead. Less mess involved to code for a start.

Just a thought. Overall, I’d say let the main character have the POWER spotlight; DO NOT mark the young already SJW tinged sister character who’s actually not badly done, as the sexual butt monkey… just to make the audience care about her (It’s in bad taste. She’s already a hard sell with the girlfriend as far as her interests and breaking the puppy is never going to win anyone points.

Brownies of a certain stash involved or not) This one is an interesting game insofar as it has potential that’s being stretched too thin and it doesn’t yet know what it wants. Cast the widest net possible and you might get something out of it, but it probably isn’t gonna be what you hoped for at the start.

Number 2 is taken by Deliverance

Right out the gate I will share to me, the game had potential; but it’s a really HARD sell. There is no way to turn off the NTR options. They play up a demonic end of the world style endgame they haven’t gotten to yet. You can either play the hero and build a team or be the villain and take what you want.

Your wife really doesn’t need to be in the game. Your wife’s news anchor friend is hot as fuck; but I haven’t managed to win her into the list of girls I’m regularly bedding because I don’t tend to play through dark options. (You should just NOT be able to save her husband and stop dicking around about that. She’s IN the game on your team, or she’s your bitch as a dark one. No in between. Also FUCK OFF for the couples sharing party that really is the only way to even remotely see her in a sex scene thus far.

Deliverance

I god damned hate when NTR is not MY CHOICE) There are far too many times you don’t get to finish inside of a girl. Sarah is basically the anal queen because if it was the way I’d want to finish in personal choice, there’s no way with as much time as she gets in the story she wouldn’t be pregnant. Rose is a mystery as to how she feels about you.

Oh, and joy of joy… your girl is forced to feel sexual pulses to the dark Lord. One of them gets stolen… WHY? Do NOT fuck around with the idea that the MC will lose one of them. Cheap trick to get people emotionally invested and as above it’s more likely to lose you subs in the long run. Your story’s barely fleshed enough to make any sense. You don’t have the leeway to muck with the outcome by that great an extent.

I’ve stuck around only to see if you can write yourself out of this corner and if I do end up with an actual Harem (Which does NOT count as NTR. A harem is MC loves all his women, and they are loyal to him to the point they are willing to share him with each other since they are all equal to his mind. Not the MC loves all his women and they will all fuck each other, as well as occasionally him.

Gah. I really wish many of you devs would get that point. That can be my Christmas present) End game needs to be in sight. For those that like NTR what it actually is by definition means SARAH SHOULD NOT BE THE STOLEN TARGET. The relationship is firmly broken if you go that route. Fully. Wifey can move on, and be with demon boy… and you can have the actual vampire harem.

The wife sharing shouldn’t be the only way to see Andrea, and it would be the most complex route. Nevermind the best friend still being alive. In a game where you can have like five different girls, why are you trying to make people pick one? Most of them are hard sells to be honest. Sue me, I’m okay with Neopolitan.

We all knew what was coming. Heck, give me the option to put a basketball in Skye’s belly as my only harem “boy,” (I don’t have a problem with the way she sees herself, but I have my views on the issue; and I’m not going to apologize. I like the character. I think this is a rare well written case where “he” can accept that there are things the body wants, regardless of mental dissonance, since MC is generally a good egg.

He is Skye’s best relationship option, or can be painted as such. It’s a good touching on issue that doesn’t have to go full bore, or make a loud statement. That’s really the best anyone can ask as far as story engagement) As well as meet her on the court and you’d get the answer. Harper too. Frankly this is the one game where it’s basically all cake. And I get to eat it too.

So far, anyway. I’d still cut out the body positivity thing (Working out IS actually being positive about your body, so long as you’re doing it for yourself and generally maintenance or to get stronger because it’s your goal. Sometimes the negative feedback can push you into that, but that is the positive outcome. It can be very satisfying to have the subtle revenge when you look good and your bully sparks interest in someone they wouldn’t have looked twice at) Beyond that point, I just want to see where the story goes.

I’d like the option to either Low Key marry them all; or end up somewhere that’s possible. Also… babies. Lots of babies, as promised. (If you really wanna throw me for a loop, go with the Song ‘Maybe He’s An Angel’ as a reason for the MC not aging, and being able to draw so many hot women to want to breed with him: He’s probably connected enough that you can play with the whole island of a hundred and twenty wives… It did happen in reality, it’s been documented it’s just a very rare thing) ** If you wanna go Super Saiyan levels of grim/dark with it, maybe Ren and his whole harem is his Heaven.

Maybe he gets to score that winning goal to prove he can get into the NBA, but at the end his heart gives out from unknown genetic factor. So the whole game’s been a dream sequence from the start, since he’s been dead the whole time. Maybe he focused more on sport than on his romantic wants and the Heaven is his means of dealing with the road not taken… Depends on how much you like mucking with the audience. I probably shouldn’t give you ideas on how to troll me, but I’ll call that a freebie.

Holidaze Bonus Mentions

Gonna throw a bone up to what I’m hoping is more an “Un” than dead game. Reluctant Archon… come back to the light Bro. I’m still waiting. Seriously. Do I need to clap my hands; heck if Sorcerer can add in Fairies, you got a good shot at the raised by a necromancer bit. Just my luck that the game which outside of the already mentioned captain hot pants’ adventures, is my actual spirit animal… gets the boot. By finance? Is it a murder, she wrote… hell if I know.

Maybe he portaled out to bang Glados, and took that left turn at Albuquerque? (Yes, I did have to look up how to spell it correctly, there’s no shame in that) Also, Also… in the mentioned Sorcerer’s fare (or affairs, as the case may be depending on how you see harems, heh) there’s a TV based call out to another game I played that had potential but seems to have all but disappeared.

It’s called Terminus Reach: Sentinel. Last updated long enough ago that I’m pretty sure I should hold a mirror under it’s nose, just to be good and sure. Since the game did have a call out in a game that’s going well, either the author of Sorcerer has friends that made the thing, or it’s a project gone on the back burner because the big flamin’ cheeto got more popular? (Man, you’re the one that made him Ryu with wings… can’t blame me for the jokes) Seriously, I like and or love the concept of all three games.

Sorcerer is going well (Though one point… as an actual Christmas Wish either work to build the walkthrough into the game directly since not every player likes fail states; or keep the mod consitent. I’ve been forced to play the last two updates on Quick Save just to not fuck up my main one on either route, because I can’t see what the right answers are)

Conclusion

On Dasher, On Dancer… Whatd’you mean it’s as serious as Cancer, what happened to the Rhythm, it ran off into the night? Oh bollocks… On Cupid and Blizten. Eh, there are too many others. Number 5 is Lord King

Lord King

So here’s a game set in an apocolyptic world where you start of as a capable but revenge driven commoner who lucks into an odd situation. A lady needs your help, and she’s willing to marry you, to get it.

Now, you can choose to use her; or go fully through with it. No spoilers, there’s an issue that will pop up that might make one more viable depending on how ‘goodest’ a boy you want to be. The game’s not done, but if you’re okay with a more anime art style, the animations are good, with some refinements that are currently in progress I’d say this one has potential. Whether or not that’s to be a wreck…

Number 4 – Life Changing Choices

Now, this one recently got a remastered version that isn’t as far along yet. Aside from that, and some small personal frustrations with the story; it’s not badly done. Again, it loses some points with me for being an anime artstyle, but the characters are endearing enough (mostly) I just wish they’d clear up definitively who’s on the MC’s side.

Life Changing Choices

Deal with one specific plot point regarding an old girlfriend who starts the whole thing, and soften the ice queen who lives with you guys but is “hiding something.” If she’s going to be part of a harem game, don’t make her too far into the ‘I’m a bitch, deal with it’ territory. Tsundere isn’t okay indefinitely. They only work BECAUSE they melt, and specifically only to the MC. I’m not asking you to change the whole character.

Just keep in mind there’s only so much any player’s going to put up with, and some of your content in game is particularly dark already. (Read: Clear up the girlfriend issue IE what happened to her exactly, AND where she stands with MC. She should not need to introduce another girl, or imply bi feelings in order to be in the harem. She was his first girl, and his girl first. He should be the only one she’s at all focused on) If I do a review, I’ll cover story more thoroughly.

Number 3 is taken Tales From The Unending Void

Tales From The Unending Void

This one is a decent story, but it’s got a few problems. It’s crossed between Mass Effect, and Star Wars to me. You captain a crew of rebels, trying to get back your “best girl” who’s not actually in the story beyond being taken away. You have a crew of almost all females (one of whom is trans, and yeah that’s not my cup of tea) who all can and or do want to pork you.

There is a pregnancy mechanic that I swear to god has not actually been implemented because thus far there’s exactly one girl you can bone often enough that it might have happened; but it reads not pregnant. Even if you continually choose “Cum inside.” They really need to make a story line that shows what the girl is going through (it’s called dramatic irony:

Number 2 in our top is WVM

WVM

Now, hate me for it all you want, but this game is fairly much always going to circle back into my list as one of the top five. Food Truck Story is a close enough take on this game, if you want some ‘realism.’ SOME. Not much. The latest update actually added a scene that compounds a problem for the MC about a hundred fold, and it was already close enough to writing the MC into a corner with the audit lady.

WVM was smart enough to introduce characters that will bank roll the MC, or help him find the way to do so. With his ultimate goal being a path to the NBA, so he wouldn’t have to worry about money regardless. No matter how many women get his baby batter in the end. Heck; they actually made professional breeder his job… and I liked that aspect, since it allowed for other women to potentially join or leave the harem depending entirely on whether the MC chose them.

Hell the princess was introduced as one of them, but added into what I’ll assume is main ranks because of reception I would gather. So I’d like to see more work done with some of the “hesitants” (Skye, Harper, the breeders, the movie star etc.) to get them into the harem, and in the family way. It’s one of the best written, and better animated games on site.

Number 1 on this top is Sorcerer

I will straight up say I have issues with making a prosthetic limbed character a warrior type in any game. (especially the leg) I happen to have a minor physical disability on the right side myself. I have no real balance, so I can’t be the fighter I would be otherwise. She would be fucked, and not by the MC. (I do allow it a pass because Magic) Make her deaf, or blind and there’d be no problem.

Hell, make her legally blind, and she could still partly see. 9/10 ‘blind’ people do have some vision statistically. It still counts as ‘diabled’ but it doesn’t maim the character’s ability to actually fight. You’re done. Good job, and all the brownie points to you.

The next problem is the “fuck a granny” issue. First, I do like Xhou as a character, but in a game with magic, not every fetish (and yes, I would call this one) needs to be shown. It’s not attractive to most people, and if ‘age is nothing but a number;’ the MC has MAGIC. So do several other better trained characters, and a DEMON LORD she was at one point fucking, who wants the MC to grant her ‘a life’ [Because straight up saying “Breed Me Daddy” is too hard??? It’s not that smart a riddle, and MC is a block head sometimes] She should either be de-aged, or treated as a friend.

Sorcerer

There are more than enough actually viable women for him to chase, but while we’re on the subject, the protect my daughter… that’s an option that COULD be a viable wife and tie MC to Xhou’s bloodline to mark her permanently allied. Even if it’s much later in content.

There’s the fact that if it’s so all-fired (heh) important to have Sorcerers in the world that they do a breeding program (by the great houses) then MAYBE get on that? I actually love that all but very few scenes are an internal ending, but so far, no consequence. It’s like watching all the harem anime that implies pregnancy is a goal/wanted… less fun, and less of a draw with no pay off.

However I will cover the game in full with a review at some point. A bigger issue is that it’s been put out a few times in bits and pieces. If there’s patch points on the download list, it can make it frustrating for players to download to try it. So it’s best to only release it in a one link state. Just an opinion, and a hope to make things less frustrating for everyone involved. We can, and most of us will be patient. (Mostly, I can’t make that promise… without Tamara’s help)

Number 5 is taken Maou-Sama

This game is a trip. Not just across continents. Across planes; no trains or automobiles required. Time isn’t so much a zone here as a general suggestion. Also, there’s incest but you pretty much can’t see anything without a patch that last I checked is as big as the game itself. They might or not, have changed that.

Anyway, the story’s decent. I’m not actually sure if they altered the fact you can bone down with your “mom and sisters” (There’s a trick to the story where they probably aren’t regardless so I’m not sure why they would have, if they did remove that) Some of it is a bit on the side of either confusing as hell or outright nonsense.

Even still it’s better constructed that a lot of other games I’ve seen. It’s fairly consistently kept up with and there’s not a boatload of mechanics to figure out.

The current game on site is I believe the third act, so unless you can find the other two somewhere I wouldn’t recommend starting a new game. I would suggest to whomever manages the links to grant access to the previous acts as well. Just in case. That’s only my two cents on it, but it’s starting to apply to several games I can think of.

Number 4 – Corrupted Kingdoms

This game is a bit hard to place. I will say I’m a bit biased. The anime thing is not really my style, but I give “My New Family” a pass because it’s good.

If you can get through the initial confusing mess of the beginning story, it’s actually not bad. I’m also not big at all on Fem Domme stuff, so that’s my taste. (It’s a big of a slow poke on actually doing something about a certain ahem, thorny pain in the MC’s arse, btw) I think at least one end route is probably going to be about taking her down, so I can sort of forgive it.

There are three paths, and I am curious to see if they at all differentiate.

Or if there’s going to be a secret fourth where you end up doing them all, and becoming essentially the avatar of the one ring. (Rule them all!) It’s a little like Pokemon, with tropes.

3. Love Season: Farmer’s Dreams (The Renpy Remake Version)

Really, this is the only one I bothered downloading more than twice. The remake is A LOT easier to playthrough and understand. I get the idea behind making it a point and click adventure game but the mechanics are ALWAYS a pain in the ass to balance out. Not every dev is good at that, and it’s a challenge at the best of times. One of the best ways to get frustrated enough to say “fuck it, I’m done” on either side dev or gamer, is to overcomplicate the mechanics.

Love Season Farmer’s Dreams

I will say: Nina does NOT need a boyfriend. Not if she’s so obviously interested in the MC in the first place. There are too many girls to chase, and the game is not specifically labeled a harem.

Other than that, so far it’s a weird start if you play the original version and it doesn’t have enough fleshed out as yet in either to start really making sense.

I’m including it because I see it’s potential to make the “Farm-Boy becomes A Hero, becomes a King” adventure a very intriguing story.

Just because you weren’t outright chosen as the one to start with, doesn’t mean you can pick up a sword and turn out to be somehow the exact right one for the job.

Number 2 in our top is occupied by S.H.E.L.T.E.R.

For a Fallout parody this one isn’t badly done. It’s got decent animation. Interesting characters and impregnation. With a viable reason you’d want to get that done.

It’s a bit lacking in consistent updates, and the last one was only really about breeding a mutant spider character (if that’s your thing, awesome for you. I was less thrilled, but Fallout doesn’t do werewolves; and no… you sick bastards, I don’t count deathclaws ; ) ) At least it takes the issue slightly more seriously than another world end harem game I could mention… but I still haven’t forgiven it for that alien countdown gameover issue.

Where’s the beef, oh right… if it isn’t all in MC’s cock, it was all beamed up to the mothership I bet. (See, I can do really bad jokes too, it’s not that hard) At any rate, my issue with another game in the same vein notwithstanding, S.H.E.L.T.E.R. deserves at least an hour or two just to check it out. If the cartoonish look isn’t your style that’s okay.

I wouldn’t blame you. For myself I can appreciate the skill in the artwork.

Number 1 of these recommendations is Almost Dead

Now, I might’ve covered this in a previous month and for those with sharp eyes, I was actively trying not to be too repetitive with the lists. Not that big a fan of jousting guys. Jokes aside (I did mention they’d be bad, you were warned) This one really did surprise me. I will say it’s a bit too focused on some characters for what is effectively a harem. It’s also not properly tagged as one.

Almost Dead

There’s a character that for as much flak as the MC gets from her before the story even starts, shouldn’t be in the list at all. Again, just a touch too much lesbianism. “Harems” are always harems because the girls are focused on the MALE lead. The girls get to shine by showing their different personality, but the male is the leader, and effectively has something that draws all of them to want him.

Any other way, it’s not a harem. Yes, there is an Arabic connotation, of what exactly it is that drew them, and yes in Asian anime it’s usually an unquantifiable/nonsensically dense amount of passive kindness. Point being, the guy doesn’t have to be massively rich to build one. It does help if he’s going to get all of them in the “family way” though. I’m much less fond of the constant trips the hospital.

Once was somewhat acceptable. Twice is pushing it, the third; you better be bringing his arse back as Dracula. Otherwise I don’t know how he’d handle his Harem Lead duties at all. Just picture it, One girl… Ah, ah, ah. Two girls… Ah, Ah, Ah. Three girls… Ah, Ah, argh! My dick broke.

It’s a sad reality I’m aware of, so I hope this one gets pulled back from the abyss. Maybe like say if he picks Satoria as his high priestess, so as the actual goddess in the group, she can veto any damage to the others, and be the best anchor possible? This one might surprise a few, but despite a rough start (and a captain who is really, really in bad need of softening, and being open about how she feels- since she’s probably the one we’re supposed to want to chase harder than a certain someone, hint hint) this game is actually a grand adventure story.

If it’s busy blue balling peeps a little. It’s hard to write a consistent well thought out story, and I know that very well.

I’d give them points for making everything make some sort of sense, and not breaking the lore of their built world.

For sticking more to soft science, and not over-explaining things. Since that can mess a writer up more than you might think.

Overall, this one surprised me quite pleasantly, once I got over the initial female power trip (It’s nicely turned on it’s head, but it can be hard to take, so that’s my warning to those who may be sensitized to it)

2. My New Family

Honestly, the animation style is anime. Which I don’t normally enjoy as much as a more realistic take. Even still, I stuck with this. Initially and without a walkthrough, some of the choices are REALLY hit or miss.

Some of the girls can come off unncessarily cold at first. Fiona and the cat girl whose name escapes me for being one of three “ginger” girls (can’t count the auburns or it’s be up to five I think, so far) were harder pills. They melt, and it’s endearing as hell to see that progress.

This game WILL make you invest in the characters. Which is only the highest possible compliment. I do think you don’t need to hit every single trope. There’s a little too much lesbian content for a main character being male. It makes it harder to tell when a girl is actually into you.

Fiona being a ball-buster Tsundere for so long even as you work to soften her, is a bit of a problem. Just because it takes that long to figure out she’s actually falling for you hard; and will never be honest about it until MUCH later in game. The grandma for me, is taking things way too far. The two anime lovers who tease about “neko” is too meta. They break immersion.

They aren’t however, bad characters. Just so long as you’re clear that they are both girls. That they are both interested in the MC, I don’t really mind if they’re bonus content or it takes another year to include. I’m actually more interested in the doctor and whether she’ll join my (soon to be) very, very large family, herself. Baby bump and everything. I enjoy the irony if that happens. What can I say, I’m an evil bastard.

Given she’ll know everything about what’s going to happen, the whole way… The game is a journey, not just a trip, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether or not you’re into Anime.

Number 1 is WVM

This choice really shouldn’t surprise anyone. Personally a new game about food trucks lost a few points with me for a slam towards it; when it’s basically heading the same path, by different direction.

Claire bear, I’m calling you and the dev out, for undue shade. Back field emotion… it’s okay to be jealous, it’s a really good game. But I’m gonna havta penalize you. Ooo, anyway… This is one of very few games that I’ve been consistently impressed with.

The story is cohesive. The animations are hot and there is no actual punishment. They backtracked on injuring their player to listen to criticisms levied and that shows they’re aware of how threatening any injury can be to a “star player.”

They are a bit slow on the pregnancy push, but give how many girls are signed up for your batter MC, it’s not that surprising. I think it’d be good if you either get the wife pair to join your harem together, or you can just pick one in a broken relationship they didn’t expect: I don’t think either of them is being exactly honest, and going on about how much you love each other can be a tell.

It isn’t with Ren, she’s just vulnerable and needing, but I also think it’d be awesome to break her mom into MC’s sex slave breeder herself, to prove to her daughter she’s just a jealous hypocrite in the long run.

I will say, the Skye question needs to be cleared up about as much as Harper joining with her daughter into your harem officially, but I imagine they’re hard at work on that. I’m just very happy they finally got to Jasmine.

I wish they wouldn’t have made Moon so chunky though. Especially when she wasn’t in past updates. I found that jarring.
