So another one looks ready to move to the next stage. At least so far as the updates hint in this current version. Number 5 – Superheroes Suck

This game is fairly consistently updated, so if reliable is your jam, give this one a shot. Don’t blame me if you feel like a punching bag. First, another game that should be a harem. Period. The question should not be what will happen if you pursue multiple girls. It should be which ones you will choose to stick with, in general. First, I’ll say I had a problem getting this game to play when I did download it. I got far too many instances of Igore, Rollback error. So the save file wouldn’t work to get into Chapter 2 the normal way. I did finally get a chance to play, and I have some gripes. They aren’t small ones. First; how in the hell do you mean to tell me there’s a neutral path??? There are two options in most cases.

Be a dick to the girl, and get corruption, or don’t and get good guy points. Where is the neutral in that? Second, Isabella along with several other listed women, have no actual means to gain hearts on the “Good” path. If there is a sex scene on Neutral or Evil, then mark it in brackets or do NOT make some snark assed comment at the end of the current version about scenes the player can’t see.

The only reason they can’t is because you haven’t done enough work to make EVERY path match in having scenes. You’re blaming the player for your lack of foresight there buddy. There’s also the fact that a Harem, doesn’t mean all the girls fuck each other, and occasionally let MC have his way. Hell while we’re at it, why turn Fannay to the dark side. Take her away, and that’s stupid.

You should just put in brackets, do not bother trying to corrupt Mida with that shit. It won’t matter anyway if you’re playing the wrong side and there should be more options to corrupt each girl, with a PERSONAL focus. On YOU. Not girls. There’s the fact that both Anya and Kat endlessly tease, and at times berate the player for things that we got no choice about.

The “little flower” joke was fine the first time or two; but by the time she’s bent to breed and not bitching about the fact you try to, it is time she needs to lay off it. She can’t keep seeing you as a little brother, if you’re going to do the I’m a good girl, and I want you to bend me like a bitch in heat. It does not work.

It’d be fine if you went in on that in Mysticism. Try actually balancing the combat bucko. The fact there is a “skip battle” button means you already tapped out on that. Light, or Dark or anything in between, since he IS A GOD, it should be taken that all the women want him. Period. For whatever reasons you want to eventually let them build up to explaining to themselves. This IS A HAREM GAME!

You keep mentioning it, even on the Good Guy path, by your Girlfriend. Though I admit, I thought I’d eventually get Fannay out of it, so I chose a much higher corruption for Mida at the onset. There are too many instances of doing a lot of things right for the lore, and being a decently (decently because it’s far too fragmented and you spend too much time railroading because you want the player that chooses dark to have some value… I do get it) implemented story.

A riff on Skyrim, with shades of Oblivion thrown in. There are also too many ways you go out of your way to fuck over, or outright emasculate the MC. DO NOT MINDFUCK the player. I do not care if it’s a dream sequence. It’s jarring, and you will lose more paetrons than you gain for doing so. Anya and Berdita can be lesbians together since they are basically a light and dark copy; and I expect it will be revealed that Berdita is a permanent version of the dopple spell.

Ataegina Chapter 2 – Adult Game

Or if you really want to push the BS feminism, they’re the second try by Ataegina to make a god character to keep her company, only she’s not into girls and they can’t be controlled the way you were. Done. You can still bring them into a three way with MC; because as it turns out, they’re not actually into women, so much as into themselves OR Ataegina wasn’t as firm in all things as they’d want her to be, if you know what I mean. Their whole side bit of tribidism can just be them getting each other into the swing so they can openly try to manipulate MC, which he will turn the tables on by either ruling over them in raw force or making both fall hopelessly in love.

Hell, I should not have to fix your story paths for you. You don’t pay me for that… It’s a good game, so long as you’re not anal about the powers. Or having any. Even as a God, and that’s what you call, Irony.

1. Matrix Hearts

Now, ordinarily I wait until a game is fairly established to give it either a review or this kind of nod. However, there’s a fair bit of content to dive into with this one. Even from the very start. It’s not too far along, and it might be a real work in progress, but on that point the MC isn’t too far a fish out of water himself.

The story is a bit of a downer for the most part. Being real for a moment, I have issues with my own legs that impede my ability to walk. Or stand as long as I’d want, as stably. I can tell you girls that look like that, aren’t exactly lining up around the block. I get his attitude to start with, and the parents and EX girlfriend are WAY TOO DAMNED harsh.

To be skilled at something physical like that, and have it ripped away in story context; name me one frigging person that wouldn’t take that massively hard. She DOES NOT actively fight for him. We don’t even get to see her give him a good bye fuck. There’s nothing to their relationship except what we’re told, so she didn’t really need to be in the game at all.

Except to win her back, but I can again tell you as someone close enough to his shoes, why bother? If she’s going to cut and run because he gets cold, without trying to warm him up or actually support him, she was never really his. Was she. So why is she still included as a character. If you can still have her, after building yourself back up to something stable, fine.

Number 5 in our top is Where It All Began

Where It All Began

Now, it could get polar in here depending on your tastes, but I’ve been clear about my favored content in the past. Bear with me a moment. It’ll be less painful than facing one, I promise. The game has just recently been reworked, and while some of it is I’d say to start to the better; not all of it. The main sister for instance. In the beginning the last go around she was actually one of perhaps two reasons to keep playing.

I will say though that Katie ended up being fairly more softened by what they’d been going with up to now… so I was willing to call her a proper Tsundere. It can be done well, and I’ve seen examples. It’s just never going to be the type I respond well to. In real life, they do not work as means to get what you actually want. Because you never can tell. Which is the problem. So honestly, the best sister starts insanely hostile and I GET what they’re going for; with a chemistry that conflicts physically with her words. However, she is also a gate to the player who is new. Not everyone is going to sign on to be abused. No matter how good the art work is.

Where It All Began – Blog

I’ve played the game since the start and I like it’s core content, so long as you don’t change certain mechanics (Though that drugged end bit in the first one and the part where Katie poisons you, yeah those I would be fine with you leaving well the fuck out thanks) you’re pretty much reworking an already well done story that stumbled a bit on execution. I will state bald it’s a bit weird to talk of open relationships in general when you pick NO NTR.

In that context you’d think that it’d be less an option to bother talking of harems than Miru will just bloody accept that it is going to happen. (Most will likely aim for it, and I appreciate that it was added straight up as an option to avoid NTR content, this is more a suggestion to avoid player confusion) If Katie is going to be a bitch to you like she was in the first game, the elder sister NEEDS to be the one whose got your back.

Where It All Began – Game Review

Built the way he is and with the fact he’s already ghosted them once, she should be AWARE of that. So even if she’s pissed and royally so, talk about it during the story’s progress. (I’d also say she never needed anyone else at all she was ever involved with; as a sign to show her actual interest has always been and WILL ALWAYS be the player character) There needs to be at least one character to invest completely in without fear of NTR at all.

* This doesn’t have to be one of the sisters… there’s always the lawyer lady or the cop, anyone who played the first round knows who I’m talking about. Whether you choose to play with Risk to conquer the world, or not. That all said, I appreciate what you’re trying to do with the restart. Shoring up the story will never go over badly on my part.

Number 4 is Simple Days

I know, I know. I’m old, I’m not that forgetful. I just had this one up to talk about. However, they’ve made some changes to the content in a recent update, which have added a few bona fide improvements. Good work, and actually managing to put out consistent updates that don’t troll fans (I still haven’t forgiven Good Girl Gone Bad for that ‘pregnant by my Dad’ scene btw) do get rewarded.

Simple Days

I’m less certain of having to face off against a mob style boss over the little blue pill manufactering but hey… at least it’s an attractive female. I’m sure they might come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. With blood tied between them. (Hint, hint. Not every bad guy or girl needs to be or have a dick to get what they want. Forty licks to get to the center of a… or a big swirled stick up top, sometimes satisfaction means sweat in the shop) If this is supposed to be O-Town; treat it like the song. Because I want it all… and you know why ultimatums are bad for relationships.

Damn I have problems with how passive that tune is. Maybe it’s on auto? Anyway, Ahem… onward. Some of the girls are getting no time, and that’s a point I’d switch. Alina’s been gated behind boyfriend BUT Naomi isn’t even on the dockect whether she’s in your list or not. In my game she’s already had one kid with her boyfriend… So WHY IS SHE THERE? I don’t want to see the girls that are going to be in my harem have blood ties ELSEWHERE.

Come on man. That just kills the whole damned fantasy. With Emma you did it right. All you’d really have to do is give player one opportunity on any given ovulating night to be with Naomi. Solved problem.

Simple Days – Game Review

Have the pink haired Asian set it up to get her friend in the harem too. I don’t care. I do NOT want to have to restart the game and grind that long, just because you want a character on the Harem list at some point. The pregnancy feature SHOULD be tied ONLY to the MC. No one else. To some players, it is an issue that will cost you subs. Not every game needs even just the shades of NTR.

That’s where I’ll leave the criticism. Good job, and hopefully the game will keep going. Barring a few small bumps like Zara being never able to get anywhere with for far too long, and one of the ones I’d like to pursue being nowhere near you at a certain point in the story (The one who got you the job, or heck the daughter you supposedly saved might do as a replacement for her mom) It’s a good bit of story work so far. Keep up the keeping up, silver star.

Number 3 Savior

First thing out of the way; this game should be a harem. Pure and simple. There are too many girls, and the story’s convoluted as fuck. It’s not necessarily a bad one, per say. All that qualification out of the way though, it’s messy. That’s a problem. We have no idea what the MC can actually do; one of the major girls is put in basically to be his equal but that actively nerfs the MC’s importance and his ability to be useful to any of the girls. The younger daughter does NOT need to be involved with another girl, if her main interest is her “brother.” All of the girls need to be more clear about who they want, and why.

Savior

They do not treat the MC very well in general and there needs to be a reason for the player to think it’s not wasting time to build anything with them. I do like that it’s gradual, but the Dating Sim issue does make me hesitant to see where things will go. I don’t like the notion I might have to choose just one, if I’ve got to be working to get all of them on my side to get the good end of the story. It doesn’t track very well as a dating sim if that’s true.

It’s simply a harem where you don’t get the harem end, and it doesn’t have the tag (I actually have a massive problem with most Harem Anime where they dick you around for sometimes a season or two before the end and dumb ass MC picks only the “best girl.” WHY was it a HAREM?) Ahem… sorry, hairball. Occupational hazzard with this much fur. What, I’m blue, big and fuzzy, and yes… I can lick my own balls. Merry Christmas, and you’re welcome for that mental image.

Savior – Game Review

The part where you play James Bond in training is basically undercut by jumping worlds. Since it turns out to be sort of, also timelines. Somehow… unless you’re planning to cross the streams in a way that doesn’t involve a lot of sploogey marshmallow guts at the end, maybe best to pick one of the two genres and stick there instead. Less mess involved to code for a start.

Just a thought. Overall, I’d say let the main character have the POWER spotlight; DO NOT mark the young already SJW tinged sister character who’s actually not badly done, as the sexual butt monkey… just to make the audience care about her (It’s in bad taste. She’s already a hard sell with the girlfriend as far as her interests and breaking the puppy is never going to win anyone points.

Savior – Blog

Brownies of a certain stash involved or not) This one is an interesting game insofar as it has potential that’s being stretched too thin and it doesn’t yet know what it wants. Cast the widest net possible and you might get something out of it, but it probably isn’t gonna be what you hoped for at the start.

Right out the gate I will share to me, the game had potential; but it’s a really HARD sell. There is no way to turn off the NTR options. They play up a demonic end of the world style endgame they haven’t gotten to yet. You can either play the hero and build a team or be the villain and take what you want.

Your wife really doesn’t need to be in the game. Your wife’s news anchor friend is hot as fuck; but I haven’t managed to win her into the list of girls I’m regularly bedding because I don’t tend to play through dark options. (You should just NOT be able to save her husband and stop dicking around about that. She’s IN the game on your team, or she’s your bitch as a dark one. No in between. Also FUCK OFF for the couples sharing party that really is the only way to even remotely see her in a sex scene thus far.

Deliverance

I god damned hate when NTR is not MY CHOICE) There are far too many times you don’t get to finish inside of a girl. Sarah is basically the anal queen because if it was the way I’d want to finish in personal choice, there’s no way with as much time as she gets in the story she wouldn’t be pregnant. Rose is a mystery as to how she feels about you.

Oh, and joy of joy… your girl is forced to feel sexual pulses to the dark Lord. One of them gets stolen… WHY? Do NOT fuck around with the idea that the MC will lose one of them. In a game where you can have like five different girls, why are you trying to make people pick one? Most of them are hard sells to be honest. Sue me, I’m okay with Neopolitan.

We all knew what was coming. Heck, give me the option to put a basketball in Skye’s belly as my only harem “boy,” (I don’t have a problem with the way she sees herself, but I have my views on the issue; and I’m not going to apologize. I like the character. I think this is a rare well written case where “he” can accept that there are things the body wants, regardless of mental dissonance, since MC is generally a good egg.

He is Skye’s best relationship option, or can be painted as such. It’s a good touching on issue that doesn’t have to go full bore, or make a loud statement. That’s really the best anyone can ask as far as story engagement) As well as meet her on the court and you’d get the answer. Harper too. Frankly this is the one game where it’s basically all cake. And I get to eat it too.

So far, anyway. I’d still cut out the body positivity thing (Working out IS actually being positive about your body, so long as you’re doing it for yourself and generally maintenance or to get stronger because it’s your goal. Sometimes the negative feedback can push you into that, but that is the positive outcome. It can be very satisfying to have the subtle revenge when you look good and your bully sparks interest in someone they wouldn’t have looked twice at) Beyond that point, I just want to see where the story goes.

(If you really wanna throw me for a loop, go with the Song ‘Maybe He’s An Angel’ as a reason for the MC not aging, and being able to draw so many hot women to want to breed with him: He’s probably connected enough that you can play with the whole island of a hundred and twenty wives… It did happen in reality, it’s been documented it’s just a very rare thing) ** If you wanna go Super Saiyan levels of grim/dark with it, maybe Ren and his whole harem is his Heaven.

Maybe he gets to score that winning goal to prove he can get into the NBA, but at the end his heart gives out from unknown genetic factor. So the whole game’s been a dream sequence from the start, since he’s been dead the whole time. Maybe he focused more on sport than on his romantic wants and the Heaven is his means of dealing with the road not taken… Depends on how much you like mucking with the audience. I probably shouldn’t give you ideas on how to troll me, but I’ll call that a freebie.

Gonna throw a bone up to what I’m hoping is more an “Un” than dead game. Reluctant Archon… come back to the light Bro. I’m still waiting. Seriously. Do I need to clap my hands; heck if Sorcerer can add in Fairies, you got a good shot at the raised by a necromancer bit. Just my luck that the game which outside of the already mentioned captain hot pants’ adventures, is my actual spirit animal… gets the boot. By finance? Is it a murder, she wrote… hell if I know.

Maybe he portaled out to bang Glados, and took that left turn at Albuquerque? (Yes, I did have to look up how to spell it correctly, there’s no shame in that) Also, Also… in the mentioned Sorcerer’s fare (or affairs, as the case may be depending on how you see harems, heh) there’s a TV based call out to another game I played that had potential but seems to have all but disappeared.

It’s called Terminus Reach: Sentinel. Last updated long enough ago that I’m pretty sure I should hold a mirror under it’s nose, just to be good and sure. Since the game did have a call out in a game that’s going well, either the author of Sorcerer has friends that made the thing, or it’s a project gone on the back burner because the big flamin’ cheeto got more popular? (Man, you’re the one that made him Ryu with wings… can’t blame me for the jokes) Seriously, I like and or love the concept of all three games.

Sorcerer is going well (Though one point… as an actual Christmas Wish either work to build the walkthrough into the game directly since not every player likes fail states; or keep the mod consitent. I’ve been forced to play the last two updates on Quick Save just to not fuck up my main one on either route, because I can’t see what the right answers are)

Still kind of miffed about the granny issue… but always a solid choice for endearing characters. Sometimes a few too many pancake jokes, and it would be nice to state that if one of the girls can be a cat; the MC can just be effectively immortal. Which would explain why he’s so bloody accepting. It’s called Changeling. Ever heard of them, they’re not that hard to look up. It would also explain the different view point, and the deeper bond between Lucy and MC. If you can have a nun, and nerdy neko lovers, Fairies aren’t that far off a mark. Just saying.

Now… hear me out, I know I already wrote a rather less than flattering review about this game. I still haven’t played it since aside from once. They haven’t changed the energy mechanics as far as I know, so to my mind the management system either needs a LOT of tweaks, or it just plain needs to go. However, I know there are plenty of people who like challenge; even if it is a four letter word to me. So if you’re one of those, the animations are attractive. They have done consistent work on the title.

It comes out fairly regularly, so it’s dependable to a certain degree. I’ll have to let you know whether this new update is any good. I could probably post a review of that review. Number 2 is The Guy In Charge

For starters, this game does need a clear path to the Harem end. I get that there’s supposed to be an NTR tag, and fair enough… but if you want to make it a dating sim DO NOT let people pursue both females. It SHOULD be just a harem game. There doesn’t need to be a way to “fuck up.” Leave that to Devon. Now that said, once you get the hang of where the girls are in their daily schedules it’s not too hard to do what’s needed.

There are a few break points to pass to see the sexual events that I think should be a lot more clear on the “how in the hell do I do this exactly?” I did have to use the cheats, and that might have borked things more than I like.

Here’s the thing, your game has been out long enough that in raw rebalancing (which should be done before trying to add too much new content) you should have had better options to gain money, and higher events for raising the girls stats. What can be done in a day is not bad, to start with but it takes about a month to get either girl up to the part where they might want to date you.

Realistic, not really. Painful regardless, uhm, yes. That out of the way the animations are attractive. The little sister could be less of a ball buster, and I’d really rather not be porking my own Mom. I get that it’s the draw for some people. However that is also the reason she’s as hesitant about sex, and moreso about getting pregnant.

So really, add in a question about what relation they are to you, and you’d cover all bases. That way you could rework the stats needed, or clear up whatever event is blockading the path a lot easier. Which might just be my opinion. I’d recommend at least one playthrough per the alpha path (or NTR path if that’s your bag, it’ll just be someone else’s baby) It’s a solid game with decent potential. I’ve kept watch to see how it’ll grow, and not just for nine months to count.

Number 1 in our top is occupied WVM (I did warn you guys)

Interestingly this one lost a few points with me, technically, on the last “update.” The dev explained a big life situation so it could be anything but it’s moving to more beta testing in updates because of it. This is more me warning you as much as it’s already bald in the game. Which is to their credit, and I respect it. I can be understanding, and would wait for the full updates.

I like the game and where it’s been going that much. Now, it might turn some off, and that’s fine. Ren’s eyes can be a bit weirdly puppy doggish and frankly you could argue several of the other girls are hotter. I wouldn’t care. Main girl is best girl in this case. Fight me; or don’t… I still have that basketball career. With this one I can state that I have faith the devs understand what it was they wanted to accomplish.

They have a plan, and they’ve introduced a way forward even with some of the ‘outside the ring’ characters. Which shows they are willing to listen to constructive criticisms or enthusiastic feedback. That’s rare. Good as diamonds. Now if we can get Skye to be loose-y we might be- alright; that was a bad one. I’m not even that big a fan of the Beatles.

Barring some less certain points, and again perhaps a little too much willingness to inject ‘body positivity,’ for my tastes the game is very well crafted. There’s more I can say, but I can’t recall if I’ve actually written this one as a full review at the moment. So, if you’ll excuse me…

So here’s a game set in an apocolyptic world where you start of as a capable but revenge driven commoner who lucks into an odd situation. A lady needs your help, and she’s willing to marry you, to get it.

Now, you can choose to use her; or go fully through with it. No spoilers, there’s an issue that will pop up that might make one more viable depending on how ‘goodest’ a boy you want to be. The game’s not done, but if you’re okay with a more anime art style, the animations are good, with some refinements that are currently in progress I’d say this one has potential. Whether or not that’s to be a wreck…

Number 4 – Life Changing Choices

Now, this one recently got a remastered version that isn’t as far along yet. Aside from that, and some small personal frustrations with the story; it’s not badly done. Again, it loses some points with me for being an anime artstyle, but the characters are endearing enough (mostly) I just wish they’d clear up definitively who’s on the MC’s side.

Life Changing Choices

Deal with one specific plot point regarding an old girlfriend who starts the whole thing, and soften the ice queen who lives with you guys but is “hiding something.” If she’s going to be part of a harem game, don’t make her too far into the ‘I’m a bitch, deal with it’ territory. Tsundere isn’t okay indefinitely. They only work BECAUSE they melt, and specifically only to the MC. I’m not asking you to change the whole character.

Just keep in mind there’s only so much any player’s going to put up with, and some of your content in game is particularly dark already. (Read: Clear up the girlfriend issue IE what happened to her exactly, AND where she stands with MC. She should not need to introduce another girl, or imply bi feelings in order to be in the harem. She was his first girl, and his girl first. He should be the only one she’s at all focused on) If I do a review, I’ll cover story more thoroughly.

Number 3 is taken Tales From The Unending Void

This one is a decent story, but it’s got a few problems. It’s crossed between Mass Effect, and Star Wars to me. You captain a crew of rebels, trying to get back your “best girl” who’s not actually in the story beyond being taken away. You have a crew of almost all females (one of whom is trans, and yeah that’s not my cup of tea) who all can and or do want to pork you.

There is a pregnancy mechanic that I swear to god has not actually been implemented because thus far there’s exactly one girl you can bone often enough that it might have happened; but it reads not pregnant. Even if you continually choose “Cum inside.” They really need to make a story line that shows what the girl is going through (it’s called dramatic irony:

Number 2 in our top is WVM

Now, hate me for it all you want, but this game is fairly much always going to circle back into my list as one of the top five. Food Truck Story is a close enough take on this game, if you want some ‘realism.’ SOME. Not much. The latest update actually added a scene that compounds a problem for the MC about a hundred fold, and it was already close enough to writing the MC into a corner with the audit lady.

WVM was smart enough to introduce characters that will bank roll the MC, or help him find the way to do so. With his ultimate goal being a path to the NBA, so he wouldn’t have to worry about money regardless. No matter how many women get his baby batter in the end. Heck; they actually made professional breeder his job… and I liked that aspect, since it allowed for other women to potentially join or leave the harem depending entirely on whether the MC chose them.

Hell the princess was introduced as one of them, but added into what I’ll assume is main ranks because of reception I would gather. So I’d like to see more work done with some of the “hesitants” (Skye, Harper, the breeders, the movie star etc.) to get them into the harem, and in the family way. It’s one of the best written, and better animated games on site.

Number 1 on this top is Sorcerer

I will straight up say I have issues with making a prosthetic limbed character a warrior type in any game. (especially the leg) I happen to have a minor physical disability on the right side myself. I have no real balance, so I can’t be the fighter I would be otherwise. She would be fucked, and not by the MC. (I do allow it a pass because Magic) Make her deaf, or blind and there’d be no problem.

Hell, make her legally blind, and she could still partly see. 9/10 ‘blind’ people do have some vision statistically. It still counts as ‘diabled’ but it doesn’t maim the character’s ability to actually fight. You’re done. Good job, and all the brownie points to you.

The next problem is the “fuck a granny” issue. First, I do like Xhou as a character, but in a game with magic, not every fetish (and yes, I would call this one) needs to be shown. It’s not attractive to most people, and if ‘age is nothing but a number;’ the MC has MAGIC. So do several other better trained characters, and a DEMON LORD she was at one point fucking, who wants the MC to grant her ‘a life’ [Because straight up saying “Breed Me Daddy” is too hard??? It’s not that smart a riddle, and MC is a block head sometimes] She should either be de-aged, or treated as a friend.

Sorcerer

There are more than enough actually viable women for him to chase, but while we’re on the subject, the protect my daughter… that’s an option that COULD be a viable wife and tie MC to Xhou’s bloodline to mark her permanently allied. Even if it’s much later in content.

There’s the fact that if it’s so all-fired (heh) important to have Sorcerers in the world that they do a breeding program (by the great houses) then MAYBE get on that? I actually love that all but very few scenes are an internal ending, but so far, no consequence. It’s like watching all the harem anime that implies pregnancy is a goal/wanted… less fun, and less of a draw with no pay off.

However I will cover the game in full with a review at some point. A bigger issue is that it’s been put out a few times in bits and pieces. If there’s patch points on the download list, it can make it frustrating for players to download to try it. So it’s best to only release it in a one link state. Just an opinion, and a hope to make things less frustrating for everyone involved. We can, and most of us will be patient. (Mostly, I can’t make that promise… without Tamara’s help)

He keeps it mostly cohesive (a little less in the most recent update I admit, since the update is marked Harem on site, but it’s actually for the Love Path: if you choose to make it a Harem outside of what is intended.

It’s good that she can be molded to fit your tastes, where the others are just who they are and you can take them or not… overall, if you can handle the reading, and don’t mind a good action based story, this game will suit a lot of different players’ tastes.

For the fact it’s a one man band, I’m surprised his arms aren’t rubber by now. Or maybe they are, who knows? He’s not telling.

For a guy who has one priestess that’s part vampire, you’d think it wouldn’t be a problem to try for whack-a-moly status. Maybe he spelled it wrong? The concept is amazing, and while there’s recently the problem of fuck a granny; I do think that was thrown in for a joke, and to sate those who have such tastes. (I think it’s weird myself, but who am I to judge, I play a werewolf on TV, wait… damn it, I knew I forgot something. Where’s my agent… right; I got hungry) At any rate, the story makes sense.

The characters are all attractive enough, and you can choose to pursue them or not. Can’t really ask for more since most of these games are niche, and a lot of them will just not be finished.

It’s a sad reality I’m aware of, so I hope this one gets pulled back from the abyss. Maybe like say if he picks Satoria as his high priestess, so as the actual goddess in the group, she can veto any damage to the others, and be the best anchor possible? Just a thought… if you weren’t going there already. Ships ahoy mate. (What, I’m still hungry)

Number 3 – Through Spacetime

This one might surprise a few, but despite a rough start (and a captain who is really, really in bad need of softening, and being open about how she feels- since she’s probably the one we’re supposed to want to chase harder than a certain someone, hint hint) this game is actually a grand adventure story.

It’s harem, or it can be, and should be best played one. It can involve the MC becoming something closer to a god, but doesn’t have to and the player gets the last word on whether it will (I’m pretty sure you should, and I went for it because I like harems, so sue me) It even plays with the breed me thing that’s not as common as I’d like.

If it’s busy blue balling peeps a little. It’s hard to write a consistent well thought out story, and I know that very well.

I’d give them points for making everything make some sort of sense, and not breaking the lore of their built world.

For sticking more to soft science, and not over-explaining things. Since that can mess a writer up more than you might think.

Overall, this one surprised me quite pleasantly, once I got over the initial female power trip (It’s nicely turned on it’s head, but it can be hard to take, so that’s my warning to those who may be sensitized to it)

2. My New Family

Honestly, the animation style is anime. Which I don’t normally enjoy as much as a more realistic take. Even still, I stuck with this. Initially and without a walkthrough, some of the choices are REALLY hit or miss.

My New Family – Top best porn games

Some of the girls can come off unncessarily cold at first. Fiona and the cat girl whose name escapes me for being one of three “ginger” girls (can’t count the auburns or it’s be up to five I think, so far) were harder pills. They melt, and it’s endearing as hell to see that progress.

This game WILL make you invest in the characters. Which is only the highest possible compliment. I do think you don’t need to hit every single trope. There’s a little too much lesbian content for a main character being male. It makes it harder to tell when a girl is actually into you.

Fiona being a ball-buster Tsundere for so long even as you work to soften her, is a bit of a problem. Just because it takes that long to figure out she’s actually falling for you hard; and will never be honest about it until MUCH later in game. The grandma for me, is taking things way too far. The two anime lovers who tease about “neko” is too meta. They break immersion.

They aren’t however, bad characters. Just so long as you’re clear that they are both girls. That they are both interested in the MC, I don’t really mind if they’re bonus content or it takes another year to include. I’m actually more interested in the doctor and whether she’ll join my (soon to be) very, very large family, herself. Baby bump and everything. I enjoy the irony if that happens. What can I say, I’m an evil bastard.

Given she’ll know everything about what’s going to happen, the whole way… The game is a journey, not just a trip, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether or not you’re into Anime.

Number 1 is WVM

This choice really shouldn’t surprise anyone. Personally a new game about food trucks lost a few points with me for a slam towards it; when it’s basically heading the same path, by different direction.

Claire bear, I’m calling you and the dev out, for undue shade. Back field emotion… it’s okay to be jealous, it’s a really good game. But I’m gonna havta penalize you. Ooo, anyway… This is one of very few games that I’ve been consistently impressed with.

The story is cohesive. The animations are hot and there is no actual punishment. They backtracked on injuring their player to listen to criticisms levied and that shows they’re aware of how threatening any injury can be to a “star player.”

They are a bit slow on the pregnancy push, but give how many girls are signed up for your batter MC, it’s not that surprising. I think it’d be good if you either get the wife pair to join your harem together, or you can just pick one in a broken relationship they didn’t expect: I don’t think either of them is being exactly honest, and going on about how much you love each other can be a tell.

It isn’t with Ren, she’s just vulnerable and needing, but I also think it’d be awesome to break her mom into MC’s sex slave breeder herself, to prove to her daughter she’s just a jealous hypocrite in the long run.

I will say, the Skye question needs to be cleared up about as much as Harper joining with her daughter into your harem officially, but I imagine they’re hard at work on that. I’m just very happy they finally got to Jasmine.

I wish they wouldn’t have made Moon so chunky though. Especially when she wasn’t in past updates. I found that jarring. When’s the last time you saw a news anchor that wants to be professional, that heavy set… I get the body positive angle but come on guys… Ruby’s thick as anyone ever needs to be in this kind of thing.

Personally, I like this game a lot.  Yeah I know there are some that don’t do visual novels. I get everyone has their tastes. It follows a path that’s pretty hard to mess up.

There are a few oddball times where the behavior doesn’t necessarily match the choices made; and I think a few of the newer updates have probably crossed a few lines in that regard as far as wires.

Number 5 – Luke’s Way

It’s not bad, but I do worry that it’s starting to overly complicate issues.

There’s the fact that one Christmas update had the MC talk about impregnating Melissa and Rachel (The mom character who’s just a friend without the patch) So far, Melissa’s been sidelined, hard. It also seems to be complicating the issue of whether you can bork yourself with some choices.

As far as I’ve read, but it’s pretty good at being decently straightforward if you keep going long enough.

They do need to stop with the pregnancy blue balls and just get into the marriage: It’s going to be open anyway, according to Michelle, so get it done, make her happy and let it just be overall a happy game.

Number 4 is taken by WVM

Overall I am insanely pleased with the progress of this game. I could stand with clarification about Harper as a GF, and Skye as well, and I don’t like they seem to have abandoned the pregnancy thing for the time being (I happen to enjoy conception as a thing, I still won’t call it a kink) They did finally get Jasmine as your Gf, and they did something I didn’t expect with Stacy.

Number 4 – WVM

So far, I’m hopeful that everything will be clear enough, and they’re not going to renege on the whole mansion full of… let’s call it “blood family.” Some topics are a bit touchy, so I have to watch for the censors. I’m not a priest you know. If that’s what some people want. Frankly, I always figured it was an odd way to slowly build up to those females being included in the harem, in the very off-hand/long run sense.

Even if not, it’s still giving people that want family, a family. Any way you look at it. Cannot recommend this one enough for those that like less consequence, and simple fun, with quality animation. – Can’t do much for you if you don’t like reading though.

Number 3 is Long Road Home

This one actually surprised the hell out of me. Which considering my furry arse is from the “deep south” should tell you something.

It’s a hard bit of going at first, but with the walkthrough mod installed, the story’s more engaging than some might think.

It’s not going to be to everyone’s taste, but it’s a good one to take a shot on, if you like Harems or want more of a Bonnie and Clyde/Sons of Anarchy with Porn take.

The animations are very well made, but there’s room to grow down a couple paths for the story so far. I’m not sure where they want to go with it, but I’m curious to find out. (Just don’t call me a cat – I’m not cool enough)

Again, gotta say I’m pretty impressed with the way this one’s going. You guys finally got to softening Fiona.

Really, REALLY wish all the devs would stop trying to make me pork or find attractive someone that is literally a grandmother though.

That’s not nearly a common kink. Not every one of them needs inclusion. Fortunately it’s a choice; unfortunately in my case I am a softy and even though she peeved me off at introduction, she had justifiable enough reasons to some extent.

I still think the way they wrote things was a bit bullshit. She’s a retcon, and that’s always harder to make pan out.

I write for a living, I do know what I’m talking about. Other than that, I’d say stop adding more characters. You haven’t even properly fleshed the storylines for half the ones you’ve created.

The harem is large enough that with young people(and potentally porking your girls when they grow up having been discussed lightly as a foregone conclusion) MC is gonna be one of those dehydrated little military/space ration packages soon enough. I do like the pregnancy but so far there’s no real evidence of it happening. I get it, the models are probably a pain to muck with. Glad it’s your job. Not mine.

Number 1 is Sorcerer

With one caveat a la mentioned above, this game actually surprised me pleasantly. Yes it has a ‘diverse’ cast that I would argue on certain points as a leg disabled person myself might verge on insulting: if it was handled less well, it also doesn’t do as much with the “monster path” split as you’d think.

The fuck a granny issue is present, but can be ignored. Except I think it’s tied to a better overall result. Here’s my problem: MAGIC. You have several ways you could grant her back years. Cast a glamor to make her look the way she was, or actually de-age her. Jesus. I do like the whole layout of the story, but for anyone with half a brain, it’s a bit slow.

Number 1 – Sorcerer

Here’s a point, instead of making him say “I don’t know” when questioned about whose life, have him be the super smart/street smart guy he’s mostly written as and point out, there’s more than one way to give her a life. Like the one he pretty much two seconds before that might have put into the demon’s belly for nine months. C’mon… it’s not that hard to figure out. Also, and this is a bit of a growing nitpick but LET THE PLAYER choose if they WANT to be called Master.

Don’t just have the main character say don’t call me that. It’s actively ignoring there’s a large amount of people sexually that do enjoy that title.

I happen to be one of them, and if he’s got enough courage/power or raw luck to be the “hero” then he gets to (by player choice involved) be called Master because the main girl will let him. Other than that, exceptional story so far. More monsters on the monster side/less monsters on the human side.

A clearer path to the story’s end game all around and you have definitely got something. I would suggest a little more clarity in the choices going forward. Maybe not as many fail states, but that applies to every game in the genre.

Conclusion

This is my list for the month, there are plenty I still love and could recommend.

I will point out as a dead horse, and a tired beating drum, not every game needs to be Dark Souls. I don’t play these games to “fail.” I personally don’t like rubix cubes.

With all the walkthrough mods that’ve come out, I’m just going to say it. I’m undead, it’s too late to damn me for it anyway.

Make the choices IN GAME clear. Write it into the coding, it would probably take an extra two seconds more work if you’d done it from the start.

Especially since you’ve all seemingly gone at this to be complicated. No one playing these games should need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the best way forward. That’s all folks. Remember, it’s all fun in games, until some wicked prick misses and pokes your eye out. Have fun, my friends. It’s good to be back, and when I’m bad, I’m even better.
